This traditional 3-star hotel in Farchant is just 4 km north of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It offers a daily buffet breakfast. The rooms have a balcony with views of the Bavarian Alps. The rooms were large and beds were comfortable. The breakfast bar had a large selection, and they made eggs to order. The location was excellent, very peaceful, with lots of things close by. The train station was a 5 min walk. We would stay here again. For the price, this was a very good hotel. The sofa beds our kids used were rather hard, but they were sofa beds.

2nd visit here and just as good as 1st. Excellent location, superb breakfast and good restaurant. Wifi a bit weak, but it's free.

We enjoyed the authentic Bavarian atmosphere as well as the quiet and relaxed accommodations. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and the main restaurant served the most delicious meals.The staff was always very friendly and helpful.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent accommodation with all you could ask of a country hotel. Fast and unlimited Internet access is available not by WiFi but by a mains-based Ethernet cable. The restaurant serves Bavarian food and drink, both of which are very good (we paid for dinner separately as we didn't seem to be able to charge the meal to our room). Parking is free and easy. Garmisch P is a few minutes away and very convenient for the Zugspitze train and cable car.

Estabamos de paso camino a Munich y este hotel fue muy practico para hacer noche. Nos moviamos en auto y teniamos lugar para estacionarlo. Muy comodo y limpio. Buen desayuno.

Der Wirt und das Personal waren überdurchschnittlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Mal wieder zeigt sich, dass eine familiengeführte Pension jedes größere Hotel locker schlagen kann. Essen ist sehr gut. Schmeckt fast schon wie bei Mutti :-) Der hauseigene Shuttleservice ist genial! Wäre gerne noch länger geblieben. Länge der Matratze und Bettdecke etwas zu knapp bemessen für größere Personen.

Замечательный отель, очень приветливый и дружелюбный персонал. Хозяева (муж с женой) очень внимательны в гостям. До горнолыжной станции (3 км от отеля) возили на машине, что очень удобно. Хорошая кухня в ресторане при отеле. Номера всегда были чисто убраны. Рекомендуем всем путешественникам останавливаться.

Ystävällistä palvelua, vaikka emme osaa saksaa. Ruoka biergardenissa oli herkullista. Saimme moottoripyörillemme autotallista paikan, vaikka emme olleet sellaista etukäteen pyytäneet. Kadun puoleiseen huoneeseen kuului aamulla työmatkaliikenteen äänet.

Kjempekoselig hotel!!:-) Flott betjening som gjør dette koselig og at du føler deg velkommen. Fin beligghenhet dersom man skal feriere i området. Kunne tenke meg dit igjen med tanke på skiferie! Flott å parkere egen bil der. Manglet heis med tanke på bagasje.

Zeer vriendelijk hotelpersoneel en een uitstekende keuken. Gelegen in een klein dorpje met de typische Beierse sfeer. Ideale plaats voor een tussenstop richting Italië. Jammer dat ze de reservering via booking.com nog niet ontvangen hadden of terug konden vinden. Gelukkig was er nog plaats.

Service + Mitarbeiter sehr gut Lokal war super Essen reichhaltig und gut. Positiv jeden Tag 2 kleine Flaschen Wasser im Zimmer mit sauberen Gläsern , sehr gut wenn Gäste Tabletten einnehmen müssen. Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Seifenspender im Bad war leer. Auf dem Schrank im Zimmer war voll von Staubflocken. Auf dem Balkon nur 1 Stuhl für 2 Personen. Negativ: Das Hotel liegt leider direkt im Eck an 2 stark befahrenen Strassen, zumal an der Durchgangstr. am Hotel noch eine Ampel vorhanden ist. Tip für andere Gäste morgens ab 6 Uhr die Fenster schliessen, sonst kann man nicht mehr schlafen.
