The manager offered a self-contained suite for the same price as two rooms. Lack of satellite TV and Internet.

Breakfast was excellent and the employees were friendly, helpful, and accomodating. My room was clean, quiet, and rustic. The bed was so comfortable that even I, a difficult sleeper, rested well. The bathroom was immaculate. The hotel is on a hill overlooking the scenic village of Bad Endorf and CAN be accessed by foot from the train station (I made it within 12 minutes, at a leisurely pace with a heavy suitcase.) Check a map online before embarking. If you can't do hills, take a cab or bus. On the horizon are the mountains and one also has a lovely view of the nearby lakes. I travel extensively for my job, and can honestly say that my experience at the Alter Ziehbrunnen was one of the most comfortable and pleasurable that I've had. Highly recommended!

Martin is a great host. Very helpful, especially when we had difficulties with our car's gps. A very fluent English speaker whose knowledge & help is truely welcomed since this is our first accommodation after touch-down. None.
