Unexpected beautiful site at the end of a gravel road. Saturday night, very busy restaurant, but still they found a place for us to have dinner. Personnel very friendly and always ready to help.

In the green valley of the river Aurach, where rare species of bird still nest, surrounded by the historic castle Trabelsdorfer Schloss and the romantic castle Burg Lisberg, the hotel “Altes Kurhaus” lies between forest and lake. Built here many years ago because of the healthy climate and the beautiful setting, the hotel remains an oasis for nature lovers and provides a wealth of things to see and do. For art lovers this is an ideal starting point from which to discover the Franken countryside, for workers it is a perfect meeting place, and for business travelers it is the perfect place in which to unwind.
