The location & the breakfast. Unfortunately the river view we'd requested which was only partial as the original hotel is directly in front. |

The location is only a short walking distance to the busy area of Cochem. It is right across the street from the Mosel and the view is lovely. The breakfast is fabulous!!! Parking away from the hotel...but they have a nice parking area...not just on the open street. No restaurant there, but the staff did recommend a wonderful restaurant for dinner on that side of town. |

The staff were very helpfull at all times. The breakfasts were very good especially at the weeked when a almost english breakfast was available. I expected snacks to be available at lunchtime and meals obtainable in the evening. Better communication needed as regards what and when food is available. Not a major problem as the Hotel next door serves very good food at reasonable prices. |

The hotel was a short walk from the picturesque town of Cochem, along the river (although extensive road works meant that part of the walk was diverted through the town, which was fine). The hotel was modern, clean and well kept. Breakfast was excellent. Our room faced the back of the hotel and was very quiet. |

Family room was very large. Large balcony overlooked the river and had a great view of the Castle. Bus stop was at front door. Bought a great local wine from Hotel to enjoy in our room. Great breakfast. Grocery store almost next door. Lovely river walk in both directions. No real problem, but you can only use the Penny Mart parking lot to unload or pack. Otherwise your car must be moved to a private lot a block away. To get the view you will need to request the "old, front part" of the Hotel. Road noise may bother some. Dinner options limited near Hotel. |

The room for four was nicely laid out; a double bed in the main room and two singles in a little alcove leading to the bathroom, which provided some separation (and privacy) from the main room. The room had a balcony facing the river with a beautiful view of the Reichsburg. Breakfast was very good with above average variety (for example fresh cumcumber and tomato slices) The room faced out on to the B49 so there was some traffic noise through the night which forced us to keep the windows closed. |

Location overlooking Mosel is super but the best for us was the view of Cochem Castle. Staff helpful and pleasant. Room spacious esp. with balcony, bathroom bit small. Unfortunately, scaffolding around the hotel spoilt a photo of it, could see castle, but workman started quite early about 8.15am |

We stayed in a quad room (room 24) and thought it was perfect for a family - view of the castle from our room. I don't think the rooms have air conditioning, but that was fine the night that we were there. The room was very clean and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was also very nice. |
