Hotel recently refurbished, clean and comfortable. Convenient for station and narrow gauge railway and only a few minutes walk from town. Ideal for railway enthusiasts as dining room overlooks steam loco depot of the Harz narrow gauge system. Excellent breakfast buffet, good evening meal. Nothing I disliked-however there are insufficient staff to deal comfortably with large numbers dining at same time. For the same reason an early morning call was overlooked-fortunely without on this occasion causing difficulty. |

Very comfortable and quiet. Central location for rail stations and town services. Rail themed restaurant with panoramic views to HSB narrow gauge steam trains. In the restaurant I was not made aware of the evening's special meal, that was not visible on the chalkboard from my location. Misunderstanding by waiting staff denied the provision of a spoon for me to drink the consomme served with the bockwurst meal, until later. I was aware of one of the waiting staff ignoring kitchen service requests, that made my presence uncomfortable. |

It is very easy to access the station and we can look at the steam locomotive from the room very easily. All non-smoking room is very good. But there is one smoking room on the recepion and lobby floor and the door is always opened. So we were always uncomfortable when we get out in our room. Please close the door. Breakfast is not bad, but the kinds of bread is poor. |

Schönes, gut geheiztes Zimmer, freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen, vorzügliche Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und der Dampfbahnstation, aber ohne Lärm. |

Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter und das Ambiente. Die gute Lage und die Nähe zu schönen Ausflugszielen und dem Harz. Die Restauration ist z.T. verbesserungswürdig. Außerdem sollte eine größere Auswahl deutscher Weine angeboten werden, nicht nur Würtemberger, sondern auch aus der Pfalz und Rheinhessen, die eine bessere Qualität haben. |

De ligging (vooral voor liefhebbers van de Harzbahntreinen) is uitstekend, ook voor uitstappen naar vb. Quedlinburg (Unesco-erfgoed), de historische sites van Kamp Dora en Buchenwald. De kamers zijn zeer degelijk en netjes... Inzake bediening en kwaliteit van het eten heeft het personeel nog wel ietsje te leren, maar het viel al bij al zeker mee. |

Aussicht uber interessante Bahnbetriebe, und sehr gut eingerichtet fur Eisenbahnfans. Angeneme Restautant mit prima Essen und Fruhstuck. Die Betten war ein bisschen zu hart. |

Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers waren aantrekkelijk, ruim en voorzien van een goede badkamer. Eten was verzorgd en smakelijk. Inrichting hotel was leuk en verzorgd: thema stoomlocomotieven.Aan de overkant van de weg lag het hoofdstation van de Harz Smalspoorbaan. |

Zimmer sauber, Frühstück reichhaltig, Personal konnte gute Auskünfte über unsere Ziele geben Kafeekanne immer nur zum Teil gefüllt, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei der Speissekarte stimmt überhaupt nicht. |

gute Lage zwischen Bahnhof und Altstadt, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, kostenloser Parkplatz, Restaurant/Frühstücksraum mit Ausblick zu den Dampfzügen. laute Lage an verkehrsreicher Straße - mit geschlossenen, schalldichten Fenstern kein Problem, mit offenem Fenster kann man nicht schlafen. Ein paar Garderobehaken mehr würden praktisch sein. |

Freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter, kostenloser Parkplatz am Haus, vom Restaurant aus kann die Betriebsamkeit auf dem Bahngelände der Schmalspurbahn beobachtet werden, Getränke kommen mit einem Zug zum Tisch, gute bürgerliche Küche, Fahrkarten und Eintrittskarten für unterschiedliche Events werden an der Rezeption angeboten - prima! |
