Parking - it was decided by the reception that I will be the only person who should search for the parking outside the hotel. Indeed I did not have a reservation but I was the only person who put the car in the hotel's parking 12 minutes walk outside the hotel. Usually my revies are positive. In general the hotel is OK, large room but the parking expearance was terrible (no clear explanation how to reach the parking was provided)

Nice hotel, young man on front desk was fantastic and helpful..room was nice and spacious and location great to get to everything. Restaurant downstairs was good, not expensive. Breakfast was simple enough and for Germany could have been better, small complaint only. Hotel wasc easy to find and has parking out the back. Would recommend staying here.

It is beautifull and really special place

There is no stairs and the hotel put me and my family (5 people and obviously 5 bags) on the 3rd floor. Also we didnt have wi-fi inside the room.

They give each guest a guest card which enables free use of public transport in füssen, schwangau and surrounding towns. So you can easily visit the royal castles, Tegelberg, Forggensee etc. for free.

Hotel was excellent. It was in the centre of fussen walled town, but was only a minute from the main road in, which made it easy to find. The private parking at the rear of the hotel was very useful. The hotel was in the style of the old town houses, but the interior was contempary, a good combination. The hotels receptionist spoke supberb English and was very helpful. The breakfast was good, we very much enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. If you needed anything you just had to ask. The room was warm and comfortable and a lovely bar and restaurant too. The location is ideal for fussen and neighbouring areas and only 45 from drive from memmingen airport.

This hotel was excellent! It was clean and beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and our room was amazing! This hotel was definitely the highlight of our holiday.

Poor Breakfast - if something ended, no one fill it again..

We stayed at 8 different hotels during our trip all over Germany and this was by far the nicest, roomiest, best located and friendliest hotel we stayed at. The room was huge by European standards and the staff very friendly. It turns out there are 4 generations of owners working there including a couple of 80+ year olds working the breakfast buffet-so cute and nice!

Only that stores are closed on Sunday.

The staff were extraordinarily good in all aspects-friendly, accomodating, responsive. The owner, we don't know her name, was fabulous. In spite of her nearly 80 years of age, she was there to greet us in the morning, to ensure we had hot coffee or anything else we wanted and was still there working and ensuring guests were satisfied at 8 in the evening. Parking is restricted so make a reservation in advance. The breakfast buffet is quite large and has everything from eggs to cereal in addition to the standard brotchen, butter/jams, meat/cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. The in house restaurant also has a complete and delicious menu. The hotel is in the heart of Fuessen with shopping all around the hotel location.

The only drawback is the lack of a lift. A room on the third level requires 52 steps from the reception desk to the floor above.

The rooms were nicely renovated and the dinner at the restaurant was great. Compared to our hotel in Lindau, we had a balcony and there was parking conveniently behind the hotel.

No Elevator!

This hotel is situated in the heart of Aldstadt Fussen on a quiet side street. Check in was easy and quick and we were shown to our room by a friendly member of staff. The hotel provides free internet which was great as previous hotels on our trip charged for it. Our room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast, buffet style was delicious and plentiful and started from 7am which was great as we had 2 very early starts during our stay. I would stay here again and thought Fussen was a lovely place to stay and was a great base for our visit to Schloss Neuscwanstein.

Good location for visiting the 'Kings Castles' nearby.

The one way system & pedestrianised areas make it difficult to find the hotel.

Immaculate room and bathroom; quite exceptional for this level/price of hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location within easy walk (<10 mins) from station and right in the old town. Also possible to walk to Neuschwanstein Castle. Good, simple and reasonably priced food.

A very minor point which may be unfair for such a small hotel is that there was no proper lounge with fire; that would have been perfect.

Very helpful front desk staff. Clean, modern room. Outstanding location, right in the heart of town. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Great hotel, staff was very polite and helpful on explaining how to reach the near by castles (Neuschwanstein). Good breakfast, very central location in Fussen, parking is also possible and charge is really reasonable( 3 euro per day).

Very-very nice staff!! Breakfast was good/OK with eggs, hams, cakes etc but did not have such great variety as it was in other German hotels. Room was cozy and clean. Very quite outside. Good location in the center of Fussen, near to central station, supermarket. There is terrace on the roof which can be used by guests. There is a very good and busy restaurant just on the left (next door) after the hotel.

Room was really small. I have noticed several times not perfectly cleaned dishes at the breakfast. No elevator.
