Clean. Helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with large selection. Quiet rooms. Good location.
No air conditioning. If leaving early I suggest paying the night before.
Great staff; good restaurant; location close to shops and cafes; size of room and bathroom.
Wi-Fi signal too weak; did not work in room (34) most of the time. Drapes did not fully cover the window/door wall to the balcony letting light in at night. Lamp shades on the small lamps to each side of the bed were burned and need to be replaced.
quaint clean good staff and excellent restaurant
Friendly family service, great breakfast and good restaurant.
The rooms were quite dated and basic, the addition of a kettle would be a big plus.
Really nice courtyard for relaxing with a good meal and a beer or 6.
Conkers falling on my head
The room is warm and sweet, very good sleep quality.
No elevator, it's hard to carry heavy luggage up to 3rd floor.
-Friendly, approachable staff -Location of Hotel
-Parking space limited and poor signage
- no elevator
Room dirty on arrival, bit shabby generally, wouldn't go back.
A big room with 2 separate rooms. One is for the couple, and one is for my 14 year old daughter.
Good quality rooms Very helpful staff at front desk, breakfast service and in-house bar. excellent location on pedestrianised street for visiting whole town. Cleaners very friendly and thorough Superb value for money
Some people might not like the rooms over the street outside, but we liked looking out down onto the passers by. Quiet at night with one or two late night revellers going home. Not a problem. Facilities are very good for a hotel of this size and good quality.
The room was lovely, the staff at reception especially, were very helpful and the fact it was a family run hotel. It was very clean and the staff were able to offer excellent advice on how to negotiate around Fussen. The food was also very good. We had a great time.
The breakfast room is lovely!
It was hard to find!
Location Friendly and helpful staff
Parking fee was not clearly stated, it was stated as free parking.
Great hotel in an unbeatable location. The staff was super friendly, the bed was comfortable and we had a nice dinner there. Parking was available but we failed to reserve it in advance.
Wifi went in and out a lot
Central location, beautiful big tasteful room with character. Friendly staff, free parking. Super breakfast. Best of all great food in the hotel bar/restaurant.
My family of seven loved our accommodations. The location was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, the room was cutely decorated, the beds were comfortable. We would highly recommend this and would come again!
We had extremely sketchy internet service. Our rooms were also on the first floor, so we didn't feel comfortable leaving our windows open for air and there was no air conditioner. It was July and very warm!
location staff food amenities
Great location with very helpful staff. Added bonus of room with separate bedroom for our child.
We loved the beds, the food was excellent, the balcony, the location, bus passes, convenience to the train station, the kindness of the staff, the manager, the room, the bathroom, the sofa, the grocery store nearby, the shopping, and asked for a flatter pillow and they had one! Everything was fabulous. This is where I will always stay in Fussen.
Staff was very helpful in making the most of our day.
Helpful & friendly staff. Especially guiding me to the car park. Good location right in the centre of town.
Difficulty finding the hotel as some roads in the centre are pedestrian only & others are one way.
Staff was very rude. Having two dogs and them saying they're pet friendly is a lie. Having a room in an alcove with two other rooms and those guests entering their rooms at all hours of the night and making a commotion would set anyone's dogs off. Our dogs barked and those guests went downstairs and said they felt threatened for their lives. We were then told by the rude staff that we couldn't leave our dogs in the room. Kind of defeats the point of driving down there to see the castles when you have to tote your dogs around with you. We stayed one night and then instead of taking our dogs with us we checked out around their typical checkout time yet still were told we had to pay for the second night. We ended up paying 30% for the second night for a service we didn't use. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone bringing family with them that has any possibility of producing the slightest noise.
Location, lovely room and the friendliness of the staff. Quaint restaurant with good food.
No coffee or facilities to make it in the mornings.
Place with character. Good room. Helpful.
