Good modern hotel, very large and comfortable rooms, good typical German breakfast, very efficent and warm welcome. 15 minutes pleasant walk to the Theatre/Scloss which are probably the main reasons for visiting Meiningen. Car park free but small but plenty of safe parking on the road. Good value

A very excellent small hotel managed personally by the owner. Absolutely the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. We had a very nice large room. A quiet location within walking distance to a couple of restaurants and small supermarket. The nice breakfast buffet was well presented. Bicycles are available for daily rental. Parking was on site. The owner was helpful and obliging with regard to tourist activities and directions. Definitely would stay there again if in the area No complaints at all.

This hotel has an excellent location, just outside of the central town area, convenient yet quiet. The service is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is certainly enough to get the day started right. Another great feature is the free wi-fi. The connection here was better than anywhere I have stayed to-date. I used it for a video conference, and it was simple and fast.

Ein sehr angenehmes, familiär geführtes Hotel mit viel Komfort, sehr freundlichem Service, sowohl durch Hotelchef wie Personal. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und angenehm ausgestattet. Sehr ruhige und landschaftlich schöne Lage, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders geeignet für Theaterbesucher oder Städtereisende, die das sehenswerte Meiningen erkunden möchten. Jederzeit zu empfehlendes Hotel.

Das Hotel lag nahe der Altstadt, diese war einfach und schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Begrüßung war angenehm und herzlich. Das Hotelzimmer ist in hellen freundlichen Farben gehalten. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Insgesamt sehr positiv.

Sehr ruhiges Haus, Blick auf die Werra, relativ ruhige Lage, kurzer Fussweg in die Altstadt, Theater fussläufig zu erreichen, Zimmer recht groß mit Sitzecke, sehr sauber, netter Panorama-Frühstücksraum, Frühstück reichhaltig, Personal sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! die farbliche Gestaltung des Zimmers (kühles hellblau)

Größigkeit beim Frühstück und in der Ausstattung des Zimmers. Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Zum Beispiel die Deponierung des Schlüssels, die Verlängerung um eine Nacht usw. Nein, es hat uns alles gut gefallen

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr günstig, da man die Stadtmitte innerhalb weniger Minuten per Fuß erreicht.Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und es wurde immer für Nachschub gesorgt! Aber bitte beachten, dass nur Frühstück angeboten wird, und am Abend keine Gastronomie geboten wird! Dies ist aber kein Problem, da es in Meiningen reichlich Gaststätten und Bars gibt.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir sind 2 erfahrene Fern-Fahrradfahrer und waren an der Werra unterwegs. Hilfsbereitschaft betreffend Gepäck und gute Unterbringung der Fahrräder, sehr schöner Blick aus dem 'Frühstücksraum auf die Stadt und sehr zubereitetes Frühstücksbuffet. Leider fehlt in der Aufstellung zur Einordnung des Hotels der Punkt "Kultur", denn das trifft für die Lage in Meinungen voll zu sowie die Einordnung "fahrradfreundlich". Es ist eine unerhebliche Kleinigkeit, die meine Entscheidung, noch einmal in diesem Hotel abzusteigen, nicht beeinträchtigen würde. In der kleinen Kaffeebar im Zimmer war nur Tee vorgesehen und auf Nachfrage nach Kaffee kam die Antwort, dass der Hersteller Kaffeepäckchen nicht vorsehe. Das stimmt nicht, denn in den Hotels, die diesen Service anbieten, gibt es immer Kuverts mit löslichem Kaffee.
