The hotel Arch is situated 800m from the station and 300m from the bank, within one of the most beautiful patrician houses of Regensburg in the centre of the lively pedestrian area. The remarkable building with its wedge shape is reminds on Noah’ ark and was already build in the 12th century.

It is good location in the old city.

Here without condicioner in the hot summer better not stay. If you
opened window, you can't sleep, because in the main level is
restauran(good restaurant) and it's very noisy, especialy at the mornig
3-4 am. :(

The location on the Haidplatz was amazingly convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The view from our window was fabulous overlooking a fountain. The people watching was great. The restaurants, eis cafes and pubs in the area were many, and all that we tried were great. The hotel offered a nice buffet breakfast with excellent selections and was included with the room.

My biggest gripe was the bathroom lighting. It looked neat but wasn't nearly enough light for doing makeup and putting in contact lenses. Parking would have been great but in this historic area there just isn't any. We found reasonable parking about 3 blocks away for 10 euros a day in a parkhaus. If you want quiet late at night ask for a room that doesn't face the plaza.

Excellent under all aspects, absolutely to be recommended. Old, Gothic-style historic building in one of the loveliest mediaeval downtowns in Germany, very helpful staff, nice rooms, outstanding breakfast.

It was central. Large rooms (we'd booked a three-bed room - in reality it was two bedrooms and a bathroom i.e. a mini-suite, making it even better value). Plenty of variety at breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lift did not go to the top floor - ferrying bags could have been a problem for some visitors.

beim Frühstück zu wenig Personal, teils kaffee servieren, tische abraümen und neu decken, Zimmerrechnungen erstellen eine Person; in den Sommermonaten viel Trubel auf dem Markt bis nach 01.00 Uhr - Fenster öffnen !!!

Zentrale Lage des Hotels

Es war, selbst bei geschlossenem Fenster, durch den Lärm der von den Kneipenbesuchern kam, so laut, dass man bis ca. 4 Uhr nachts kaum schlafen konnte. Ab 6 Uhr morgens wurde dann für längere Zeit sehr geräuschvoll die Straße gesäubert. Vielleicht ist es ruhiger, wenn das Fenster zu einer anderen Seite liegt oder man an einem anderen Wochentag dort übernachtet. (Wir waren am Samstag da.)

El hotel por dentro es bonito (es una casa medieval restaurada) y esta muy bien situado. La habitacion triple era muy grande y comoda, y el baño era totalmente nuevo y estaba muy bien.
