Hotel Lipmann "Am Klosterberg"  

Great hotel! Although, I thought we were getting a room in the sister hotel right on the water front - so that was a dissapointment. This hotel is very nice and just a short walk away in a great little town, but more modern with less of the charm I was looking for in a historic town.

Cordial service and excellent location... a great dinning experience.

We stayed at the 'Altes Zollhaus', which is effectively on the River Mosel. We had a very comfortable room, with a river view. It is a small, friendly hotel - part of a family-owned group in the village; English was spoken by all the staff we had contact with. The hotel is well run, and provides everything one needs and expects from a small hotel. The staff are vey helpful and hard-working. The hotel has a restaurant which is open most evenings; when it is not open, there are alternatives. We dined on the terrace, overlooking the river. The food was good, and we enjoyed the local wines. We had a very enjoyable 5-day stay, and the hotel provides an excellent base to explore the Mosel region. Thank you.

There was nothing we did not like, but a word of warning: the hotel (and - it seems - most of the village), do not accept credit cards, and only limited debit cards. We had to pay in cash, so do not get caught out!

Accessibility. Good food.

The last morning, we were told by the managers of the Zollhaus that theywould not be there, so we had to walk, in the rain, to get our breakfast and pay for our stay at the Zollhaus at one of the "sister" Lipmann hotels. A very strange and inconvenient turn of events.

Very cosy attic room overlooking the Moselle. The evening meal at their adjacent restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast served next morning in the hotel.

Difficulty on arrival to establish where to check in as the Am Althaus was locked and no instructions where to go but this is only a minor criticism.

Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Propert och rent. Lugnt men ändå centralt läge.

Badrummet var perfekt. Wc fanns I ett separat rum och det tyckte vi först var bra men det fanns ingen möjlighet att tvätta händerna där, alltså inget tvättställ. Följaktligen var man tvungen att ta I dörrhandtaget både till wc-rummet och badrummet med otvättade händer vilket inte kändes bra. Eftersom wc-rummet uppenbarligen var förberett för tvättställ bör det vara lätt att komplettera.

L'accueil - tout était impeccable

De prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding vond ik slecht. Voor €90,- verwacht je in een hotel te komen, maar 'hotel' Lipmann Am Klosterberg is eigenlijk meer een dependance, waar alleen 's morgens personeel is voor een simpel ontbijt buffet. Verder is er de gehele dag geen personeel en is er geen eet- of drinkgelegenheid in het gebouw zelf.

Ons verblijf in hotel Am Klosterberg was uitstekend. Mooie kamer / badkamer / balkon.Ontbijt was uitstekend. Mooi uitzicht op ruine. Wij werden gastvrij ontvangen. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug

Uns hat in diesem Hotel alles gefallen. Angefangen von der freundlichen Aufnahme bis zum wirklich sehr schönen Zimmer mit einem grandiosen Blick auf die Burg. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Hotel als Gäste, auch zusammen mit Freunden, kommen.
