Am Klostergarten  

We stayed here two separate times on a 3 week vacation in Europe. Its access to Munich airport and the town of Freising itself were the attractions. The S Bahn takes you easily into downtown Munich and to the airport. Breakfast was good and worth the extra fee. Plenty of parking available as well.

The location is a bit of a walk to the old town center, the Dom and the Weihenstephan brewery. Also as the hotel name implies it is near the cloister garden of a major church that begins its bell tolling at 6AM every day. If one of the hotels in the downtown center had been available, we would have preferred that location.

The hotel was tidy and comfortable. Furnishing was quite new. The man working there (I think he was the owner) was friendly and helpful. The location was easily accessible and quiet. We came with by car. There was appr. one kilometer to the center of the town, about 15 minutes walk.

The only thing worth mentioning was the church bell. The bell goes on every fifteen minutes and it is just next to the hotel. But I had my earplugs on so I still had good sleep.

Convenient to Munich Airport...very pleasant Town with many small restaurants and pubs. You are able to take the train into Munich. Good for 1 nights stay.

The proprietor bent over backward to accommodate our requests to break out the reservation to give each person a receipt with their names, got me a cab to the airport (10 mins away, which was our primary reason to stay there), recommend a great italian restaurant across the street, and the breakfast was very good and included.

Easy access to Munich airport. 15 minute drive.

Parking on street was a bit difficult (not many spaces) although the option is there to use the underground car park.

The location was very convenient to Munich International Airport. It only took about 10 minutes or less to get from Freising to the airport. Street parking was available right in front of the Hotel or you could choose to pay for the hotel parking. Shopping and dining were very close to the hotel (walking distance if one chooses). Breakfast provided the family touch in the morning. Overall it was a nice quiet comfortable stay and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator. We had to repack our bags for the flight home and it was somewhat of a hassle to get up and down the stairs with the bags. Other than that, no issues.

I have asked for rooms on the lower level, but when we arrived you didnt have..All the stairs were difficult for my vamily

I am really glad about my decision to stay in this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and very cosy. As I was on a bussiness trip, it was great to have internet connection for no extra charge. I also liked the place of the hotel, and the bus stop was just in front of it. So I could reach the town centre in less then 5 min, however, I prefered walking, because the route was just worth it. Definetely, I would recomend this hotel for others.

Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit, bayerisch im besten Sinn des Wortes, einfach pfundig, auch für Schwaben vom Bodensee ein Erlebnis besonderer (absolut positiver) Art.
