This former brewery is located in Buttenheim, on the edge of the Franconian Switzerland region. It offers rustic-style rooms, home-brewed beers and free Wi-Fi. Nice lady that runs the hotel. Great prices. No one there when I arrived. It took me ages to find out how to get into the hotel. Then couldn't work out how to get on the WiFi as no one available.

This hotel was very nice in a quiet location but still close enough to the highways to be very practical. Andrea was very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints and would gladly stay here again.

This was our 2nd time staying here in Buttenheim. The hotel is clean, comfortable, quiet and the breakfast excellent. I will always stay here if and when I travel back to the area. I highly recommend this small quiet, town. no negative remarks.

quiet atmosphere, family running hotel in small village just 10 min from Bamberg, very welcoming, small rooms but enought for just sleeping, clean, tasty selection for breakfast, wifi in rooms.

room and breakfast OK, parking in front, 2 restaurants in front. Very quit village, OK for 1 night no reception, nobody. Find the key at the entrance, outside. You have to know!

Inmersión total en la más auténtica Alemania, tanto en el mismo hotel como en las dos Cervecerías que tiene cruzando la calle. Trato exquisito, discreto y familiar. Lo recomiendo siempre que se vaya con vehículo para usarlo como base para recorrer Franconia, zona con muchísimo que visitar y que disfrutar (impresionantes Bamberg y Nürnberg) Tener que irme de allí

wir haben nur auf der Durchreise übernachtet, schönes großes Zimmer, gut zu erreichen wir hatten ein Eckzimmer im Erdgeschoss und das war trotz voll aufgedrehter Heizung sehr kalt

Freundlicher Empfang, angenehmes Ambiente, nicht prätentiös modern, sondern bürgernah am Mittelstand. Ideal gelegen für Berliner (ungefähr auf halber Distanz zum Allgäu). Nix, waren aber nur eine Nacht dort, auf Durchreise zum Allgäu.

originalità dell'accoglienza (parte vecchia): all'arrivo trovate la chiave della camera appesa all'ingresso con il vs. nome su un foglietto. Si accede liberamente, salvo incontrate successivamente la titolare (al piu' tardi a colazione il giorno dopo...); camere piccole ma pulitissime, con vecchie travi a vista, confortevoli quanto basta. Buona e abbastanza varia la prima colazione: ottimo l'oario a partire dalle 6 nei giorni feriali per chi desidera visitare i dintorni sfrutando l'intera giornata.. Molto cordiale la titolare. In sostanza è piu' un ottimo B&B che un hotel. Di fronte c'è la birreria S. George dove si puo' mangiare cucina tipa a prezzi onestissimi e comprare buona birra, anche in confezioni da regalo. Struttura comoda all'autostrada per chi desidera visitare Norimberga (50km) e Bamberga (20km) senza soggiornare in città. Le camere al primo piano sono rumorose se avete la sfortuna di ospiti al piano superiore che calpestano il pavimento in legno con le scarpe. pagate cash: le carte sono accettate ma c'è sempre una certa difficoltà a far funzionare la macchinetta.....

Goede uitvalsbasis. Tegenover een brouwerij met een goed en gezellig restaurant maar 4 kleerhangers in de kast geen kapstok voor de jassen douche deuren aan vervanging toe
