This quiet, 4-star hotel is a 5-minute drive from the Neue Messe Exhibition Center, in southeast Munich. It offers free wired internet, an indoor pool and is just a 10-minute walk from Moosfeld Metro Station. The family-run Hotel Am Moosfeld provides rooms with cable TV, a work desk and a modern bathroom. Varied breakfast and lunch buffets are available in the hotel bistro. In the evenings, the Kaminstube restaurant serves Bavarian and international dishes. Recreational facilities at the Moosfeld include a small sauna, a fitness room and a pool. A shuttle service to the Neue Messe is available upon request. Trains run to Munich Central Station in 20 minutes. The A94 highway is half a mile away and there is free parking on site. The location was close to the Inter Airport exhibition which was very helpful. No wireless in the rooms. Beds were a bit too small and too firm. No movies in the room. Towels were poor quality.

All the Staff were partularly attentive, breakfast choice was very good and the late bar facility suited our group. The gym and pool were a bonus however the Hotels location with regard to visiting City Centre and the Octoberfest site did mean our party incurred extra expense on taxis when returning late evening.We are most grateful that the hotels shuttle service collected and returned us to the nearest mainline station for travel to and from the airport, thank you. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Moosfeld and would certainlt consider staying there again if we re-visit the city of Munich.

1) Very cooperative staff from the reception to the resturant to the management. They do their bests to make you be satisfied and leave them happy. 2) Breakfast was very good. very good condition rooms. 3) They did not charge me for the extra bed for my 7 years daughter (that was so gentle) although I was ready to pay extra money for that. 4) not too far from Munich down town, only 15 minutes driving. Super - price and quality matches - even though I do know that during exhibtion time rates are pushed up. Good and workable swimminpool and a super restaurant - nothing fancy but good food at reasonable prices.

Breakfast is good. Have shuttle bus to the Messe exhibition center and S8 station. Clean. Room is smaller than expected. No air conditioner. The staff is polite but not friendly enough. Have free wifi in the rooms but have to pay 6 EURO to buy the cable.

Staff very friendly and always available. Very good buffet breakfast, which never seems to run out. Calm neighborhood. Close to Munich's extensive subway system: excellent connections to the inner city. No AC. Sleeping with the windows open allows noise from the bar terrace to freely enter.

This hoitel is outside of Munich center, still one has difficulty finding a parking place for std passenger car. It seems the hotel is best suited for people going to eastern Munich exhibition center, for others the location is less ideal. The hotel stands in a fully built suburban area. Hotel rooms are big but the style is from the 80'S. I paid 175€ for room and breakfast. Normally (if you don't book same day) one can get a clearly better offer from Munich city, with breakfast, at 80-130€ (for example the brand new Motel One Deutsche museum at 78€). So some decency should be applied even to flexible room rating. Very high room price. Flexible room pricing based on demand does not mean one can charge whatever as it was in this case.

Service provided by staff were over my expectation (all were on place and delivered on time without additional prompts and requests). No mini-bar in my room. Just only one bottle of water on table were in disposition during my four-day stay. It was considered as "invitation drink", or so? :-)
