Great location, large clean room. Nice breakfast and friendly hotel staff. Parking is hard to get to and hotel is not obvious to find as it is in the middle of a shopping center. The rooms are converted offices, I think, so they feel more like hospital rooms than hotel rooms. Overall a good hotel for the money though. |

The triple room (a 2-bedroom suite) was spacious, and the breakfast was also very good (even if the staff did seem a little peeved at us coming down just before the end of breakfast). I wouldn't recommend driving to this hotel, especially if you don't like driving at 3mph through pedestrian zones and having people stare at you... |

A lovely hotel in the Altstadt. Even has a library of DVD's for free. The location was spot on. The room was comfortable, including a window overlooking the plaza. All sights were within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. |

Very nice spacious room and a lovely bathroom. Good location in the historic part of the town. Internet access in the reception area. Good breakfast. Quite a long way to carry bags as parking is not very close by - the hotel is in a pedestrian area. |

The hotel is in an excellent location in Freiburg. We were able to walk from and to the train station. While at the hotel, everything in the city was within walking distance. We would stay again. A south-facing room on the hottest day of the year resulted in a room that never really cooled to 20C, even at night. To open the window significantly meant an open door to a shared balcony, so we couldn't leave it open when away from the room. |

Clean room, very good breakfast, good shower. You have to reserve a parking space in advance. (See the hotels own website). If you do not have a good route description to this parking/hotel, it is difficult to reach because you have to drive through a "walking area" where there are no cars allowed. This can cause some commotion..... |

The breakfast selection was fantastic, great coffee, and the location for seeing the city was really perfect. Was nice to have a nonsmoking hotel, and also to have a large library of DVD's to select from. The room and bathroom were very spacious for Europe, which was also nice. Our room was on the top floor with no air conditioning - that was a bit warm in the night trying to sleep, but the windows faced toward a quiet area so it was okay. Also, the DVD remote control did not work. The staff tried to help us find new batteries, but it still did not work. The idea of having books and DVDs available is great, though. |

Excellent location for the city centre, pleasant hotel and rooms, staff friendly Parking was difficult to find but previous comments had highlighted that. Would have been good to know inadvance of the festival that weekend as the set up for this went on late into the night and started again early the following morning. |

Great location in the old part of Freiburg. The Room was comfortable and clean. Reasonably close to railway staion. Good from tourist perspective. No bar, restaurant etc facilities. |
