First of all the Hotel has excellent location, you can walk to almost all major sightseeings. Hotel staff was friendly and spoke english. The breakfast was really rich, I did not expect to have that kind of breakfast ;) My overall experience is very good with this hotel and I would recommend it to everyone who is willing to explore the city. |

Loved the location, especially as I did a bit of guess work on the internet booking. Exactly where we wanted to be. Staff so helpful. Ability to rent bicycles from the hotel a real plus for us. |

Hotel am Scheunenviertel is situated near the city-centre of Berlin and therefore a very good base to explore the city. Also nice shops, pubs and restaurants in the lively neighbourhood. |

Clean, quiet. 2 international tv channels. Tiny room, not even space to leave an open suitcase on floor. Receptionist had no information on highly advertised Berlin WelcomeCard. Little English. |

The location is very accessible to transport and a number of good restaurants. Before I booked the hotel I had read the comments about the noise from previous visitors and it really is so minimal compared with the benefits of the hotel. |

Excellent central location, quirky area full of character, lots of bars and restaurants, easy to get to all places of interest. We intend to go back to Berlin and will stay there again. This is actually a red light area so don't stay here if you'll be offended by the presence of prostitutes strolling up and down the street (although it's done in a very orderly way and everyone else just seems to get on with the business of eating/drinking/shopping without batting an eye lid). |

We found this hotel perfectly located for our first trip to Berlin. A short walk from some major museums, cool bars, fab restaurants, and very well located for transport connections on the S and the U trains. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommend this hotel. Clean,warm , with our own shower and toilet. Buffet breakfast was fine and included bread rolls, lots of cooked meats, cheeses. smoked salmon, cereals, fruit salad, yogurt, coffee, and selection of teas. There were only a couple of niggles, but they didn't ruin our stay. It would have been nice to have had an English channel on the TV, not that we stayed in to watch it anyway, but maybe news24, to keep up with any worldwide news. Also extra pillows would have been better, as they only gave you one for each person. |

I was very impressed - it was very reasonably priced including breakfast and the location was great. So many places to choose for dinner right outside the hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating. Would recommend as a great budget place to stay. |

This hotel is very well located and convenient for sightseeing.and shopping. the area is atmospheric and full of life. the u-bahn is very near. the staff are friendly, helpfull and efficient. It is my third time staying there and I probably would return.I would also recommend it to friends and family. Some noise from street. but that would not be an issue in an internal room. |

Excellent location, within walking distance of several museums and places of interest. Close to 2 metro stations and the main railway station. Very good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Quiet atmosphere in an interesting and busy area. We would have liked to have had real expresso coffee at breakfast |

I like the hotel very much and have stayed often there. It is very handy as a tourist hotel We felt this time it was a little expensive. I had to stay in a hotel in Fasanenstrasse for my business and I only had to pay 15 euro more for a much bigger room and a lot of facilities. |

Great location, lots of restaurants in both directions on Oranienburgerstr., good bar across the street, 10 minute walk to Hackesche Hoefe and even more restaurants and nightlife. Hotel is completely unattended after 6pm (but guests get an outside door key). As long as you're comfortable with that, fine. Be careful opening the outside door to avoid crushing your fingers...ouch. |

The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was served in a pleasant room. The hotel is also conveniently close to an U stop and a S station which made transportation around the city easy. The location of this hotel in the red light district made me, as a single woman, uncomfortable walking around at night. The nearby bars were noisy in the evening. |

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Centrally located in Berlin. Access to public transport was right there. It was great. I would stay there again. The continental breakfast was excellent. |
