Hotel 38 (ex Hotel am Scheunenviertel)  

I stayed at this hotel just for one night but I had a very pleasing stay. The staff was really kind and helpful, the room was original, well furnished and clean. The wi-fi connection is free and the breakfast was huge and tasty. I highly recommend Hotel 38 if you want to visit Berlin (that is a wonderful city!), since it's just 2 kms away from Berlin HauptBahnhof.

Excellent value price-quality. Really lovely and brand new hotel. Very close to Alexanderplatz and other facilities. Tube station at only 1 min. Walk. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very gentle staff. Everyday room has cleaned. Location is very good for city trip. Underground is 50 m to the hotel

I Love their Breakfast!! Very nice Buffet style in a very quiet and modern room with a little terrace... Perfect to start the day!!

My bed was very small... A real single bed for a single person! Next time, I'll book a double room for myself!

Excellent location (you can walk to the most interesting places, or the nearest metrostation is approximately 50 m from the hotel). Delicious breakfast. DVD-player. Friendly staff. Style.

The location is great, surrounded by a lot of bars and a museum, good for young people. Thus, service is great and helpful.

The room is a bit cold even if I open the air conditioner and radiator. I almost caught a cold there.

Good: breakfast, helpful kitchen staff, renovated room, good location to public transport.

Bad: First floor location at the front has unacceptable noise/music from the table dancing club next door that makes it very difficult to sleep. Room was barely big enough to get round the bed to the window.

Location, breakfast was really good. Lift was working okay. We were lucky to have Katarina at the reception, she was very friendly and helpful. She helped us to book tables in good restaurants and make the right choice. The owners were quite friendly anf fun

Some of the ladies at the reception were not helpful when we asked to cancel the booking of our table at the restaurant, they said we can do it by ourselves. Usually you don't expect such answers in any customer oriented hotels. Booking or cancelling a table at restaurants, advises on where to go, ordering taxis is a must responsibility for reception stuff. So service in this regard should be definitely improved! Other things about the hotel are good

Our triple room wasn't as well furnished/appointed as web photos made out. It had a slighty more basic feel.

Julia at Reception was charming and helpful. Lovely, clean room and wet room shower. All hotel stylish, light and minimal but retaining its charm! Central, buzzy area. Delicious, freshly prepared breakfasts
