Best Western Hotel am Spittelmarkt  

The proximity to the Spittelmarkt underground station and the fact that there is a Spanish Restaurant, a bakers and a cafe just across the street .The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Buffet breakfast had a great variety of food .

Seats in reception area not very comfortable.

It's so close to the Dresdain station, and it's easy to find the hotel. Shampoo, Towel, hair dryer are included, but there's no toothbrush. But you can buy one at the front desk.

The staff were very polite and helpful.

The bed (s)! When I book a double room I would prefer a double bed rather than two singles pushed together...that separate very easily.

Clean room, friendly staff, pc's with internet in the lobby. Good location near the U-bahn and bus stops. Several cheap breakfast bars are around the corner.

The location was very good, and the room very clean.

I didn't like the fact that there were bulldozes and workers working outside of the hotel from 07:00-20:00, making it impossible to sleep with the windows open, even on the 7th floor. So too much noise. Also, at some point the door couldn't open because it run out of battery.

It is convient - 5 min walk to Spittlemark Uban. Staff is knowledgeable. Good breakfast and comfortable room. Would chose it again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful :-) As I wanted to check-in before the official check-in time, I asked, and the room was ready and mine very fast.

This place is great! Excellent location - 2 minute walk to Spittelmarkt underground station on the u2 line; many other Berlin sites are within walking distance. Spotlessly clean modern rooms. Fantastic breakfast spread available 8-11am, very friendly and helpful staff.

No wireless internet. There is high speed lan access in the rooms, and some internet PCs in the lobby which are free to use and also allow you to print stuff. Lan access in the rooms is by means of a very short fixed cable coming out of the wall, so if you bring a laptop you can only use it sitting at the desk.

Very silent location near metro station (U2-line, which is a good line to explore the city).

Really a basic hotel, no extras. We missed cafe/tea making facilities and also a minifridge could've been very nice to have. Only english tv channel was news channel. Decoration of the hotel was generally boring. The breakfast area(s) looked very nice though. The location was also a bit boring, there was not much restaurants/cafes/bars in the neighbourghood.

A friendly and clean hotel. It was really in allot higher class then I expected.

There wasn't any wifi on the rooms. Im using Ipad on my travels to do my work and there isnt any option to use that kind of devices with wired internet. I know that this is a factor for many people. There would have been nice to be able to buy some kind of food and such in the hotel in the afternoon and night, next shop or supermarket is very far away.

The rooms are small, as well as the shower. But very clean, a small safe in the closet, no minibar. I do not like worned-out hotels, but this one is not at all. I only spend 55 euro's for one night. But....if you are looking for a luxery room with lots of space, do not go here. The breakfast was incredible, I have rearly seen it so fresh and with so much variation. (only 9 euros) The staff was helpful. This hotel has everything one could expect for a nice weekend shopping. Only 3 stops to Alexanderplatz with the U2 underground with almost stops in front of the hotel.
