Staff were very helpful. It is located near Black Forest and good hiking to great views and restaurant overlooking the city. No elevator in the guesthouse, but the staff insisted on carrying our luggage to the top floor room which made it much easier. |

Location is very convenient to shopping area and restaurants downtown No elevator, old building, very expensive for a "Gästehaus"and no parking available, so you take your chances on the street and pay the city parking tickets. |

the reception/wait staff is friendly, professional, multi-lingual and helpful. we stayed in the "old" part of the hotel, and it is very comfortable, clean and charming. breakfast is presented in the new "design" hotel section and was fantastic. |

The main hotel is very nice. We originally booked the Guesthouse but it wasn't very nice there, clean but not really attractive. The main hotel is elegant and quiet. Overall the location is very convenient and attractive. |

location, staff discomfort of the room (noisy bed and not warmed room). is not clear that the gasthaus is not "in" the main bulding of the hotel. |

Close to city centre The room (guesthouse) appeared to be rather sterile. Breakfast was not included and more than twice as expensive as in city centre cafes. |

The breakfast was excellent. We were staying in the annexe. The room was on the top floor - no lift. The room for two was only suitable for one person, therefore very small. It had its own boiler which only supplied enough hot water for one person's shower at a time and so needing a good half hour to reheat the water. I would imagine that the rooms in the main part of the hotel, although more expensive would be much better. |

It was lovely to roll out of the hotel and stroll five minutes to the Cathedral and its marvelous outdoor market - never thought I would find fresh mushrooms photogenic can't remember reviews but this hotel is clearly a winner - I did not find anything negative. |

Very friendly and helpful staff, conveniently located within walking distance to city center, clean & nice rooms (stayed in guesthouse), loved the breakfast buffet & the food & ambience at the hotel's restaurant "Vis-a-Vis". Very recommendable! |

Spaciousness of the room was very good and I was very happy that the window opened. Fortunately the hotel provided a fan. The lack of air conditioning was especially difficult. It was very warm and no indication when booking this hotel that is was not air conditioned. Our room was first floor guesthouse facing the street and hotel lobby. Only sheer curtains covered the large window leaving no privacy. We had to leave this window open at night due to heat - not secure, private, or comfortable. |
