Good location, pleasant room, excellent buffet breakfast No kettle in room! Had to go to hotel bar for late night cup of tea which was very expensive. Also not enough blankets and pillows provided so was a bit cold during night.

It is in a very good location, easy to reach old town. Good price. It is an old place, not renovated since 70s or so. Old furniture and everythiing. The ventilation in bathroom was terribly noisy, onlyto be switched off together with light.

Great location for shops and/or tourist visit to Freiburg. After day 2 of 5 the hot water packed up so no shower other than cold water (in December)!!!

Good, comfortable accomodation, in close proximity to the Munster and the old town but in a quiet location.We were able to walk to most destinations, including the station (20 mins ) If travelling alone, could feel isolated,as the staff were in the main Hotel on the other side of the street.

The staff were terrific and always helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was a decent size but quite basic. We felt the car parking fee as well as breakfast price were a little excessive considering the room rate.

The hotel is in a convenient location for the main city attractions and has good, secure parking (at a cost). We stayed in a guesthouse room across the road from the main hotel. We had a nice room on the top (4th) floor. There was no lift and the stairs were quite steep and noarrow. This would not be good for an elderly couple but fine for us.

The location was good and staff welcoming. I was expecting a room in the hotel, not the gasthaus which was not as good as the hotel. The booking was misleading. The gasthaus is old fashioned so to me it is a 2* room for which 100euros is not a great value.

Good location. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, pleasant room I had a lot of trouble connecting to the wireless. But, the hotel staff was very helpful and gave me access to the hotel across the street where my computer hooked up to the wireless very nicely.

Die Lage ist perfekt, da die Altstsadt sehr nahe ist, aber trotzdem ist es in einer ruhigen Strasse. Frühstück gibts gegen Aufpreis und haben wir nicht benutzt! Es war ziemlich laut, respektiv man hörte das Geschehen der anderen Zimmern sehr sehr gut. z.B. schnarchen, TV, Gespräche etc!

Die Lage zum Zentrum, bzw. Aussichts- und Wanderbereich Schloßberg. Parken pro Tag in Tiefgarage 13,- Euro, Frühstück nicht inclusive 13,50 Euro pro Tag, Kaffee war lauwarm, Käse- und Wurstplatten waren mit Wasserschlieren überzogen, diese werden wohl am Vortag vorbereitet und im Kühlschrank gelagert und dann am nächsten Morgen aufgetischt ?

Die Information über die Parkmöglichkeiten in den angrenzenden Straßen war unzureichend und unfreundlich. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Hochpaterre zur Karlstraße hin, so daß man alle Gespräche auf der Straße mitbekam.

Attenzione a cosa prenotate, la Gästehaus e' una cosa e l'hotel un altra : cambiano I prezzi ma anche di molto la struttura e il servizio. Nella Gästehaus non c'e' ascensore e anche il wifi non e' disponibile. Al momento della prenotazione non e' molto chiara la differenza tra le due strutture. Riscaldamento spento in camera, mancanza salviette in bagno, mancanza wifi ...

Die Lage ist sehr gut, auch das Stammhaus (Hotel am Stadtgarten), welches über die Straße liegt. Leider passte die Beschreibung auf der Homepage nicht mit dem tatsächlichen Erscheinungsbild zusammen. Die Bilder versprachen ein modern eingerichtetes und renoviertes Zimmer. Das bezieht sich aber auf das Stammhaus und soweit ich weiß auch auf das zweite Gästehaus. Unser Gästehaus war aber ein Zimmer in einem Wohnhaus, was zwar sauber war, aber keinesfalls den versprochenen modernen Charme oder die entsprechende Einrichtung hatte.
