Hotel Am Triller    

I liked VERY much the very nice service Saturday morning at breakfast ( 11. May )

Nice location within easy walking distance to the old market scene. Very nice outlook for the breakfast area.

I stay in a lot of hotels on business, and the Hotel Am Triller is the best one I've stayed in for a long time - friendly staff, good facilities, nice rooms, and good food.

There are not many hotels that give you a nice surprise when you open the door. The clean lines, vivid colour matched rooms, wall mural, and glass shower! If you’re not impressed then this place is an above average dormitory hotel, but it’s also a place to take someone special for the weekend. Very comfortable, excellent well priced restaurant, easy to find off the main autobahn; the room has everything you need, just bring cloths.

Breakfast was a bit pricy, but rooms do have a kettle (rare in Europe)

They are very original and the food was excellent.

My towels smelled like smoke and my room was not a 4 Star room.

No Kettle, or tea and coffee making facilities!

Nice contemporary decoration and comfortable beds. Excellent steaks at a reasonable price and the hotel had a sauna, small pool n gym.

Breakfast was ok.

We liked the decoration. All fresh and modern. We stayed in room 314 which is the street side. But double glazed windows and very quite street as residential, so no problem. The rooms are big, lots of space, this is really nice. We had a good rate of 81.-e (special offer) for a double room. The shower was in the bedroom which means: whoever has a shower is seen by whoever else staying with him/her in the room. We didn't mind, but some people might not like this. The breakfast room is great. Like a big covered terrace. Tree tops all around you. One feels very close to nature. Nice thing: free parking, as long as you park on the outside parking. The garage is 8.-e per day. It's a beautiful stroll of 5min to the old town centre.

Room 314: This sound stupid, but the bed sheets are so soft, a bit like silk, that they keep sliding off... I kept on searching for my cover... The bed was a small double:only 140cm wide which is unusual for Germany. Also: the breakfast at 14.-e per person, this cost is way to high. They do have a good food choice, and all bio, but still, the price is to much. There is a cattle in the room to make coffee, also cups and spoons, but no coffee. I just wanted to take a cup at the breakfast room, just 1 coffee, to wake up. The young (polish?) waitress immediately asked for my room number and wanted to ad this coffee to the room bill. It's basically just hot water..., Anyway, I didn't take the coffee after all.

This was my third stay at atahe Hotel am Triller. I like its position. The rooms are clean and quiet. The food is good andthe price fairly reasonable

There was no air conditioning and the weather was extremely hot.

Very comfortable beds and large rooms.

Just a little bit 'out of town'

The location, staff, and services were exceptional. The hotel is at the top of a hill and removed from the noise of the city. However, it is only a 15-minute walk down the hill to St. Johannis Markt (where all the restaurants, cafes, and shopping are located). However, the walk back up the hill isn't for the elderly or those out of shape! Rooms were meticulously cleaned each day. Staff were pleasant, helpful, and spoke English well. The breakfast room, restaurant, and bar area were all charming. There was also a nice Biergarten. The breakfast itself included everything imaginable and was delicious. I can't imagine a better hotel in all of Saarbruecken.

Although the breakfast was delicious and had everything imaginable, the one other meal I had at the hotel (the noon meal or "Mittagessen") was disappointing (especially for the money). I ordered an omelette, which was very dry and a bit burnt. Perhaps it was the chef's day off.

Room 707 is very nice and has a fantastic view over the city.

Very nice rooms (Themed). Lovely reception and Bar area.

Friends rooms were quite basic and old - defiantley worth booking a slightly better room. Location was ok, quite difficult to find and quite a walk into town.

Séjour d'une nuitée dans la chambre 101 (suite sur le thème du Moulin rouge) : parking extérieur gratuit, proximité du centre-ville (10mn de marche),beaucoup d'espace et de luminosité dans la chambre (bien agencée et équipée), grand dressing, grande salle de bains avec baignoire-spa, douche et toilettes séparés. Le petit espace piscine-fitness-solarium- sauna est agréable. Si vous séjournez longtemps dans l'établissement, vous disposez même d'une carte gratuite pour un club de fitness du centre-ville. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, mariant variété, qualité et quantité. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et disponible.

La réservation d'une suite, la plus chère de l'établissement en l'occurrence, devrait inclure le petit-déjeuner (là, 2x14 euros supplémentaires) et éventuellement un "late check-out" (là, chambre à libérer à 11h00 !). Suggestion : il faudrait un lecteur de dvd. Les matelas sont anciens et devraient être changés.

WLAN kostenlos - im Zimmer (Suite) jedoch kaum Empfang, Bad nur mit Dusche, Einrichtung des Zimmers teilweise beschädigt, Vereinzelt Straßenlärm trotz ruhiger Hotellage

Très belle chambre spacieux au dernier étage avec vue exceptionnelle, très propre, très écologique, très bien équipé. Et un petit déjeuner de classe!
