We got a very warm welcome, and was very good informed about getting around in Dresden. The "biergarten" was large and cheap, and food as you can expect in such place. Refrigerator in room. |

The breakfast is very good and the arrangements are informal. The staff are all pleasant, welcoming and helpful and the hotel is on the whole comfortable. The location is excellent and Dresden's superb tram service makes it easy to get to the city centre. It is also reachable by a (long- ish) walk and easily by bicycle on the riverside path. The hotel is on the newly converted top floor of the Waldschlösschen brewery building therefore the restaurant which has a good terrace and beer garden are within easy reach. The rooms facing the river have a very good view but the windows are small, being under the roof. There is a good new supermarket round the corner. Dresden is a fascinating and elegantly beautiful city. The hotel is reasonably priced but not especially good value. It has no facilities to speak of. The furniture is minimal and mostly from ikea (and not their highest-quality lines either) but the beds are excellent. There is nowhere to put anything in the bathroom (but it is otherwise good and sparkling clean). Because the building complex is shared with the brewery-restaurant and offices it tends to be a bit noisy early in the mornings and late at night. The rooms facing the river also face the road which is busy from early in the morning. The rooms on the other side look only into the courtyard. The roadworks mentioned by other reviews are only a minor irritation but the new bridge might spoil the view of the Altstadt in the future. I did not see any of the "huge" rooms mentioned in another review. |

This hotel is a great choice! We've traveled extensively throughout Germany, but not before to Dresden. The hotel is set in the storied Old Waldschloesschen Brewery. The rooms are HUGE, at least twice as large as any other hotel YOU or I have stayed in while traveling in Europe. Many of the rooms have extra bed(s), and this is great if you happen to have children traveling with you. |

The hotel was spotlessly clean, The beds were exceptionaly comfortable the Breakfast was excellent. The Staff were very helpful, a quick phone call when we were running late and they were waiting for us when we arrived. Only a short tram ride into Dresden much better than driving. Secure parking, We will be returning. |

Zeer deskundig en vriendelijk personeel, gastvrij en behulpzaam,vanaf de hotelkamer mooi uitzicht op de stad en rivier de Elbe Niet tevreden is teveel gezegd, maar er is geen wachtruimte of lounch, waar je even kunt gaan zitten, de receptie zit in een appart gebouw, je moet dan naar het cafe/restaurant/brahaus, is onderste etage van hotel,alle kamers en ontbijtzaal zitten op bovenste etage ( 4e etage ) |

エルベ川に橋を新設するため、路面電車のホテル前の停留所が廃止されていたので、代行バスに１駅乗らなけれ- ばならなかったが、にぎやかで眺め抜群のビヤホールも併設されていて、楽しい宿舎でした。 ガイドブック『地球の歩き方』には、このホテルでは無料で自転車を貸し出している、という記事があったので- 、到着してすぐに自転車を借りてエルベ河畔のサイクリングを楽しみましたが、自転車は有料でしたので「オヤ- ？」と思った。 |

Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ligging was meest positieve punt, openbaar vervoer naar centrum, voor de deur. Kamer was sober ingericht, niet van deze tijd. Geen telefoon op kamer om receptie te kunnen bellen. Volgens mij was receptie s'nachts niet beschikbaar!!! vreemd!! |

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit schönem Blick auf Dresden. Die Einrichtung war schlicht und einfach aber völlig ausreichend. Am Hotel befindet sich ein wunderschöner Biergarten mit gutem Restaurant. Gute Verkehrsanbindung zur Innenstadt (Bus-Strassenbahn) Ein Spiegel im Zimmer war nicht vorhanden |

Erg prettig en behulpzaam personeel. Het hotel is een sobere modernisering van de zolderetage (22 kamers) van een oude bierbrouwerij. De brouwerij zelf heeft op de begane grond een gezellig grand café met groot buitenterras. Het is fantastisch om vanaf het hotel langs de Elbe in twintig minuten naar het centrum van Dresden te fietsen met de hele tocht de prachtige skyline van de stad in beeld. Bij de receptie staan gloednieuwe fietsen (ook tandems). mijn éénpersoonskamer was wat aan de krappe kant. De tweepersoonskamers zijn aanmerkelijk ruimer. |

Ilmastoitu hotellihuone, siisti ja tilava huone josta näkymä joelle (tosin näkymä itsessään ei ollut mitenkään erikoinen juuri tuolloin), ystävällinen vastaanotto ja palvelu, aamiainen samassa kerroksessa huoneen kanssa (4. krs), hotellissa oma viihtyisä ravintola, sisäänkirjautuessa saimme kaupungin kartan ym. ja opastuksen julkisilla kulkuvälineillä liikkumiseen, rauhallinen ympäristö, ilmainen pysäköinti Opasteet hotelliin voisivat olla rakennuksen ympärillä hieman paremmat, navigaattori kyllä opasti oikein osoitteen perusteella, mutta aluksi olimme epävarmoja missä vastaanotto sijaitsee |

die lage direkt am fluß, man kann zu fuß in die dresdner innenstadt spazieren - dies ist wunderschön. und: das restaurant/der biergarten mit riesiger terrasse inkl. ausblick auf die stadt liegt direkt unter dem hotel! parkmöglichkeiten beim hotel. außerordentlich freundliche und hilfsbereite hotelmitarbeiterinnen. köstliches und ausgiebiges frühstück. die brückenbaustelle außerhalb des hotels - doch sie fiel kaum negativ auf. im hotel selbst gab es nichts zu bemängeln. |

Die Mitarbeiter sind außerordentlich freundlich und wir fanden es auch nett, dass ein toller Biergarten mit Life-Musik direkt an dem Hotel lag. Das hier gebraute Bier war spitze! Es war alles wunderbar. Fön vorhanden! Schön wäre es noch, wenn ein Vergrößerungsspiegel im Bad wäre. |

Hotellet ligger dejligt med udsigt over Elben og til den gamle bydel med Frauenkirche i midten, og det er helt vidunderligt at leje en cykel og køre ud langs Elbens bredder med udsigt til højder og fine gamle villaer .Forbindelsen til centrum var nem med bus lige for døren og kort transporttid.Dejlig udendørs terrasse dag og aften med servering og varme.God bilparkering. Faktisk ikke - kun kunne tv-apparatet måske sænkes lidt, det "hænger" meget højt oppe under loftet, men da vi kun så tv 5 minutter på 4-5 dage, så gjorde det ikke os noget !(Vi rejste mor og datter).Har ikke læst andre anbefalinger,pkt.herunder.formål:+bevægelse |
