Amalienhof Hotel und Apartment  

Walking distance to all the Weimar sights. Staff friendly and helpful. Elegant hotel with nice antique touch but all modern facilities and good, white cotton napkin breakfast. We stayed in Gropius-Van De Velde room. Knowing that Van De Velde is a Belgian who wrote Bauhaus-history in Weimar this particularly pleased us. Next time Weimar is definitely Amalienhof.

Location (near Bach House, bus stop, Bauhaus University, Goethe Garden) is great, 5 mins bus route from main station and can walk thru lanes to the town central (Goethe Platz). Buffet breakfast is good, staff are friendly.

You need to ask the staff for the internet connection, it's a wired box, and the speed is very slow...

The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the town and the staff very helpful and welcoming. In all a very pleasing experience and I would recommend the hotel to those who wish to explore the old town and have value for money during their stay.

Good service, very rustic hotel with old-style but tastefully decorated rooms. The included buffet breakfast was good. Free parking is available. The hotel is very closed to the town center (5 mins or less).

The internet is free, but only available in the ground floor - it would be nice to extend it to other stories as well.

Great staff and good to get parking in this city. There is no bar in the hotel but they have some at receiption and a room to relax in. (Also bar just 100 metres away.

The Amalienhof Hotel was perfect for our weekend sightseeing trip to Weimar. The facilities, staff and breakfast were excellent in every way. We would recommend it for others. There also seemed to be many people there for business, too.

The staff were unfailing friendly and helpful. My room was large and very nicely equipped, and the breakfast was good. They have a lovely roof-top deck for sitting and reading, and the hotel is located close to everything in the "old town" of Weimar.

This is a wonderful hotel, more beautiful than the pictures can even show. The rooms are very elegantly appointed, bathrooms are new and immaculate. The staff is terrific, helpful with finding directions, phoning taxis. The breakfast was candlelit (a first for me) and very lovely in general. In terms of location, you really cannot do any better.

Goed gelegen hotel op enkele minuten wandelen van centrum stad en bezienswaardigheden. Verzorgd hotel, net ,vriendelijk personeel, verzorgd en ruim ontbijtbuffet, grote kamer, ruime en gratis parking voor bezoekers. Aan te bevelen!
