Hotel Amano

The bed, bathroom, room and everything was incredibly confortable and better than expected. Breakfast buffet for 11 euros more then recommended.

Really everything was good.

Hotel Amano is a very nice hotel conveniently located between two stops on the Berlin's Subway, would stay there again.

It was a very modern and warmly designed hotel. Location is good, close to both S-bahn and U-bahn stations. Free wireless internet was favorable point about the hotel.

No chair in the room (but hotel stuff was very helpful about providing me a chair)

This is a very attractive, modern newly-opened hotel in East Berlin. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was superb and the breakfast excellent. The hotel is very well located for the Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt areas of East Berlin. A real find!

Piped music was ever-present and was annoying and unnecessary. There was a loudpspeaker in the ceiling right outside our room and the music could be heard inside our room. This noise-pollution is an ever-increasing nuisance in hotels - however, the staff acted promptly to turn it off when I asked them.

Hotel staff was just correct but never warm. My internet service did not work the first day and the rest of the days we had to work in an uncomfortable corner next to the exit of the apartment in order to have a signal. When we asked for a free breakfast because of this, they refused.Cleaning was good but inconsistent.Also, noise from the Amano bar on weekends is loud and you can hear the bass sounds even with the windows closed.

Everything was great. The location of the hotel was fantastic and the room was extremely spacious and comfortable. The room was always cleaned very well and the breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel very highly!

Nothing specifically, although if I had to be critical I would suggest increasing the size of the TV as it was positioned far on a wall and sometimes difficult to see. However, everything else was very good.

The foyer and dining room were attractive and well laid out, Japanese in inspiration. The room was pleasant and quiet, and everything in it was well-designed for comfort and cleanliness. The lighting in the room was excellent. The buffet breakfast was self-service and good. The staff were friendly and eager to help. We asked for a kettle, and it was produced that evening. The location is good, within walking distance of Alexanderplatz, very useful for public transport and a department store. It is in a pleasant neighbourhood and within walking distance of other stations, cafes, restaurants and galleries.

The Hotel staff is very professional, the apartment was confortable, clean and very quite. The breakfast buffet is fully loaded with sweet and salty foods: eggs and bacon, salame, speak, cheese, marmelade, bread and so on. The Hotel location is perfect: it has Alexander Platz and the Pergamon Museum at walking distance (15 min) but if you are lazy there are two subway stops very close to the hotel (less than 5 min on foot)
