Had everything required, was clean and reasonably quiet. Very convenient for central Berlin. Good breakfast. Staff very helpful

Room was rather austere, with view onto central courtyard. Noisy bin emptying on 2/4 nights.

It was close enough to walk from the train station and close to the s-bahn. It was clean secure, quiet and breakfast was good. front desk staff were helpful with travel plans and advice. Good price

Excellent location at the heart of central Berlin. Very close to all sights, train station, and shopping places. Comfortable and clean. Very nice breakfast. Very lovely and helpful staff. No need to handle the key of the room back when going out, so u r totally free. There is a very near by book store and a supermarket , so you can by all what you need instantly.

Wifi is not free. Reception closes at 10.pm and opens at 8.00 am.

The location is perfect for seeing all the tourist sights of berlin. It is also close to a few good bars for an evening drink. The hotel itself is ok. It is clean and the breakfast has a certain charm. No complaints and i would certainly stay here again.

Firstly because the price and secondly due to the location

In this oppurtunity, I would like to inform you that the hotel Amelia was charged me 160 euros because their parking paper was forgotten to return by the time of check out on 1st Novemebr 2012. Therefore, its parking paper left inside the rented car in the airport Tegel berlin. Actually I have requested to the rental car company to return it to the hotel because our flight schedule was very tight, but in fact that the paper was throwed to the garbage bin. I feel that this is not unfair, because during check-in in this hotel the recepcionist has not well informed me about the policy of this parking paper and also when I was checked-out she was not asked or reminded me concerning this paper. Quiet room with comfortable beds. Nice breakfast and tea or coffee in the evening.

Hotel was in a great location, only 15-30 minute walk from most sights and situated only a 10min walk from the main train station/u-bahn. Fantastic value for money considering the location. Hotel was in a very quiet area of the main strip. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

You do feel quite independent, as you are given a key and not expected to return it every time you leave. The rooms are clean, with all usual conveniences, and while the breakfast is very standard (bread, cheese, cold meats, cereal, yoghurt and boiled eggs) it is fresh and on time, with plenty of it. My shower was excellent.

Not a 3 star by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe a one star. My tiny room to be entered around the corner from hotel entrance. No shower in room, but in passage. Small bed with head right on the heater. Although they sold me a 5 Euro voucher to use the internet, their was almost no signal in my room. I complained to the guy at the reception, who told me that I should use the breakfast room since the router was there. The advertisement of wifi througout the hotel is thus clearly deceptive. They never refunded my wasted 5 Euro.

Absolutely nothing. It was a truly horrendous experience.

It advertises itself on this website as a 3-star hotel, yet it is little more than a youth hostel. It owns only the first floor of a terraced building with residential flats above. There is no meaningful sound insluation. There is no proper reception nor any on-site staff at night. We were kept awake by loud music through the ceiling, stomping throughout the night and no calls to the hotel's forwarded reception number were answered. The decor is grotty and out of date, the breakfast room is crowded and the fare is poor with no lounge. The room windows do not open and the secondary double glazing provides neither heat nor sound insulation. Furthermore they refused to provide a refund when we left early citing a hotel policy, despite their fraudulent advertising. Booking.com stepped in to provide a refund, but this disgraceful hotel still took £50 of my cash for a £20 room.

The room was great with its white color and lovely pictures on the walls. Everything was very confortable and practical. I think the hotel per whole is a little paradise of flower-pictures. Moreover, the breakfast room into the reception location is a splendid place to enjoy your frugal morning meal. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood of the downtown and you can easily get to the most atractive area of cultural targets as Friedrichstadt Palast. It is about 20 minutes of walk the Central Station (Bhf) and at about 10 minutes of walk to the Deutsche Bundestag. I would like to stay again in this lovely hotel anytime I get in Berlin.

There's a strange thing regarding the room key - it's the same with the one for the main entrance in the hotel (separate from the entrance to the reception)

It did have an old style charm, it was ideally located in the city itself, and despite some of the reviews i browsed prior to travelling it had a delicious breakfast buffet!

all i would suggest is a larger sign, more visible on reinhardt strasse, for it is rather difficult to find (initially)

Strategic location for a city trip. Within walking distance of Brandenburger Tor and Reichstag building.

Central location, walking distance of station, Reichstag and numerous restaurants. Good breakfast with cereals, ham, cheese, eggs etc. Okay for a few days but not for longer. You get what you pay for.

Small room, uncomfortable bed, no lounge, having to go outside the hotel and access separate buildings for the rooms, the original single room I was shown did not have en suite shower which was across the corridor. I complained and was moved.

Our room was really nice, big enough to be comfortable, and clean. The staff was really nice, helpful, and the breakfast was quite good! I definitively recommend this place, it's a very good value for money, and the location is great, very central.

For a budget priced hotel this place was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Good location,10 minutes walk from main train station , 2 minutes walk for airport bus and handy for city sightseeing. .

No air con and the traffic was too noisy if you opened the window so the room was a bit hot and stuffy at times - but this was reflected in the price.

The springs in the mattress were a little too obvious and would be uncomfortable for a heavy person

Paid wi-fi is the onle disadvantage of the hotel

Not all member of the staff speak english, we paid for the access to a really low quality wi-fi and the wall of our room was so thin that we heart everything happened out of our room. We had to argue with a staff member because we didn't had wi-fi in our room even if on the web site it is written that it was available in all the rooms and we obtain it only after the threat of leaving and pretending a refund. Nontheless the hotel is near to an u-bahn station and the breakfast was good.
