Good location, good breakfast, room ok.
Members of staff so rude and unhelpful so we can´t recommend this hotel. Bad wifi and incorrect information about price and local tax.
Perfect location! Friendly staff. I had to leave before breakfast and got a delicious lunch basket as a replacement. Perfect!
When I book a hotel room With a double bed, I expect just that, a double bed, not two single beds continously gliding apart, so that my wife falls down between them. In 2014 a WIFI ought to be cost-free included.
THE WC was is the corridor!!!!!...and we paid a double room with WC!
Excellent location Friendly staff Enough breakfast Clean room
Poor WiFi In the night there is no heating !!! No towel change No reception at night
Simple hotel, very centrally located: most of the attractions can be reached by walking or are a couple of metro stops away. The rooms are on the (elevated) ground floor of an apartment building; reception and breakfast room are below.
Proximity to main Street and historic areas In walking distance for a 65+ sedentary gent. Spacious clean accomodation
The local public transport system, which is good, took some working out. A pamphlet or outer handout explaining metro locations at the outset would have been helpful.
Location is close to city centre. Personnel was very friendly and customer orientated.
The confort of the bed is comparable to sleeping on the floor or on a stone. It is too hard. The walls are very thin; you can hear your neighbours sneeze and talk on the phone. You have to pay for the WIFI. The windows are simple, not double; in the morning you get all the noise from the street, as well during the night by drunk guys, plus it's cold.
Problem with the lock on my door. For three hours locked out of my room. Staff on duty charmless and unapologetic.
Room was clean and tidy, and for the money well appointed.
They should have the WiFi code in the rooms.
Close to Mitte and the Underground station of Oranienburger Tor. Quiet Room.
Poor bed. Musty smell in room for the first few days I was there. General dampness as if room had not been used for some time. Room did not appear to be cleaned every day.
The internet for extra EUR 5 was incredibly slow, but the personnel was not willing to resolve the problem at all. We couldn't get any sensible advice to our questions about how to get around the city either.
Location was great, breakfast was very good
Beds were not comfortable
No airconditiong in the room, not even a fan. When you take a shower the room becomes even hotter and damp, no ventilation with 86 degress outside. You can't sleep in a room with temps that are that uncomfortable. WIFI does not work in the room and they charge you for it. Unfriendly staff when they are there and then they disappear after a certain time. Being an out of towner, if you need help, you're on your own, not a good feeling so far from home. I would not go back and I wouldn't care if this hotel was across the street from Berlin central. They made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted as paying guests.
Shower and bathroom facilities.
This hotel is fantastic! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. They are willing to help and made our stay easy. Our room was superb with our own front door to the street (so no need to pass reception of an evening). The room was big with a small en-suite that had perfect, clean facilities and a great power shower. Breakfast was a lovely selection in a clean and airy breakfast room. The hotel also provide an afternoon cup of tea or coffee. We had a great 4 night stay and would definitely go back. The hotel is in walking distance of the busy sites and streets in Berlin and it's near to 2 of the biggest train stations making it easy to get to the airport.
The location and the nice staff
not really a hotel more like small rooms inside an apartment building and i got a very small room with the shower outside my room
The breakfast was good value
The reception and breakfast area was seperate from the rooms. You had to go outside and down stairs. It was quite a long walk to the main station
Offered everything we needed. Wifi available at a reasonable cost. Good basic breakfast with quite a lot of choice. Great location - really central.
Advertised coffee available 5-8pm daily but really it was just a kettle and some instant coffee or a tea bag. Still nice to have though.
Everything we needed. Good location 4 transport as long as walking is not a problem. We found it very well located.
Our friends had no electricity when they arrived but there is not much you can do when the German version of United utilities dig the road up. It was only off for a few hours.
Very friendly and patient staff. Everyone I contacted with provided very useful info and assistance.
the internet definitely needs improvement
spacious room. great location all sightseeing is in walking distance. Rental bikes are provided. Decent breakfast.
you pay 5€ daily for internet. Room was facing the atrium of the building, which can be a bit noisy. the reception opens at 8am till 10pm.
Location easy for main station
The location, the cleanliness,
The rooms were not in the same building as the reception;
Stuff on reception were nice.
Lady who is making breakfast was very rude, and the room was not clean enough.
