The local culture & experience
The family that owns this place, just fantastic. Very nice persons, willing to help you with whatever you need, excellent services. We choose this location as it was in a similar range from both Linderhof and Neuschwanstein which we wanted to visit both (approx 30-40 minutes by car, very nice landscape)
Nothing, it was really nice
Nice flow on the shower.
We stayed in 15 different places over three weeks in Europe and every single one was a winner except for this place. It truly was a dog! We arrived to a locked door, when we rang the bell a head appeared from an upstairs window and shouted to ask what we wanted. We then waited a few minutes before the lady of the house came to unlock the door and led us into a darkened room with curtains drawn and chairs upside down on the tables. We had specifically asked and had confirmed to us that the restaurant would be open. This was important to us as we had travelled far and needed an evening meal. The restaurant was closed because some holiday had already occured. But what followed was what upset us - the attitude was 'tough luck!, We ain't gonna do nothin' about it! You will have to drive to the town 8 km away'. I would have liked a proper apology, a short list of suggested places to eat and an offer of a free breakfast. Instead we got rudeness. The room was old but clean. The whole place is old, dark, dingy feeling. The 'view' was of the neighbour's rough, unmade drive. The breakfast was placed in front of us like rations (no self service or yummy surprises here). We do NOT recommend this place. It seems that it's okay when things go smoothly but these guys will not try to put right a problem they have caused. Bad, bad, bad. Go to any of the other wonderful places we stayed in but not this one.
I like everything, it was that I expected for the price. Very friendly people.
Thin walls. Restaurant closed. Took payment from my card before I came to pay bill.
good atmosphere and friendly owners, clean room with balcony
the blankets smelled like sweat, continental breakfast was a little bit poor
