Hotel an der Nordschleife

Beautiful location and very clean. Breakfast Reasonable.

Don't arrive after 8 even if you ask on your booking form for a late book in, they will try not to let you in the Hotel and get very angry. They do not speak a single word of English and expect you to speak German. The bedclothes are a bit "scratchy" and the coffee in flasks which are stone cold by 9 am.

hotel in fantastic position for a trip to visit the Nurburgring as part of the norschliefe is right next to the hotel, from our lovely spacious balcony we could see the track, its on the edge of the lovely town of Adenau, which is 10/15 mins walk to the main shops/restaurants, however there are supermarkets 5 mins away, perfect.

the matress was lumpy the pillow and duvet on bed were very thin

the water was not hot enough on the morning the check in procedure. You don't know if the hotel is open or not if you come during the afternoon

From our apartment we could see the cars racing on the track. Dinner in the hotel was delicious and the breakfast was great!

As the name suggests, this is a motorsport themed hotel a stone's throw (almost literally) from the Nurburgring Nordschleife. If you are visiting the 'Ring it's in a perfect location around 5 minutes ride/drive from the entrance to the Nordschleife and perhaps 10 minutes from the main Nurburgring complex. If you're there for this purpose you won't mind the tyre squeals and revving engines coming from the track during the day - it's all part of the experience. However you can't actually see the track properly because of screens. Friendly staff, good beer selection and good, simple food - I had an excellent steak in the hotel restaurant. The room was basic but comfortable.

best proximity to the raceway, very advisable restaurant (steakhouse), we spend 2 nights there, the breakfast was very good with wide choice, the room was large and clean, upstairs is a balkony with view to a part of the nuerburgring

Distance to nurburging

Ideal location for driving or watching motor racing at Nurburgring circuit.

The hotel is in a great location in Adenau overlooking part of the Nordschleife, and only a 10 min drive from the GP circuit and facilities. It has supermarkets and restaurants/bars in close walking distance, and the town centre is not far away if more shopping is required. Free parking and limited Wifi available for customers. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, and the restaurant is very good for steaks and schnitzels amongst other things. The owners were very pleasant and helpful, and the rooms very spacious and clean. Fridge, kettle and a small safe is provided, and some rooms have balconies. The power shower is awesome!

The free WiFi was very weak so mostly unusable and there are too many pictures of Michael Schumacher, Eddie Irvine and Ferraris adorning the walls for our liking!

Location is great for the racing fan with some room actually overlooking the Nurburgring Nordschleife. Very clean and friendly staff.

Minor complaint was that in some rooms the wifi had poor connectivity

A family run hotel that is welcoming and friendly . Fantastic food at in house restaurant , with great views of the Nordschleife from the room's balcony . Clean and functional bathrooms with great shower . Wi-Fi on site . Good parking and great location for anyone interested in Motorsport and the Nurburgring .

Very basic accommodation, no more, no less. Perfect as 'a bed for the night'.

Very good location for watching cars on Nordschleife

Hotel an der Nordschleife was exactly as described, it provided affordable accommodation for one evening on our motorcycle trip.

It was unfortunate that the Hotel failed to mention that all restaurant and close cafe facilities were not open on Tuesdays, the night we chose to stay, a hot meal in a social environment would have been appreciated. Had we known this at the time of booking, we would have sought alternative accommodation.

This hotel is in an excellent location for those wishing to visit the famous Nordschleife. The view from the window is something to behold!

From what I can tell there is only one reason to be in the area and that is the Nurburgring! If you want a good, clean, affordable place to stay right on the track then Hotel an der Nordschleife is perfect for you. Large rooms with plenty of beds, good food, excellent staff. No frills but perfect for a place to stay before or after a day or days at the track.
