We liked the breakfast, for which we paid extra one morning, but we also enjoyed the kitchen facilities (microwave, small refrigerator, electric kettle, sink, etc.) which allowed us to provide our own breakfast the next morning. There was a good internet connection, however, my tech savvy husband required assistance in setting up the portable modem which was provided. The bathroom was very nice---modern and clean...

No elevator, but the stairway was wide, and easy to navigate with our heavy luggage. Also, the lack of a shelf in the shower made it necessary to place hair products, etc. on the floor...

Very spacious apartment with a separate en-suite bedroom. Comfortable lounge area with dining table and small kitchen. Everything seemed fairly new and modern. We were given a free transport ticket to use the bus, tram and train to get into Kassel. All very efficient.

The house is situated on a busy main road and there was some noise from the passing traffic.

parking is a little small but it is ok to park along the street outside the hotel and it is free

Our first impression was WOW. Our apartment was very stylishly and expensively furnished and very comfortable. In fact the whole place gave the impression that someone had really put some thought into the decor and fittings. The big surprise however was when we retired to bed to discover the bedroom was equipped with a large waterbed. The room also had a few pots and pans, crockery, basic cooking facilities plus a fridge and small dishwasher. Note that internet access is via cable and the hotel can provide cables but this depends on having a laptop with a LAN socket or adapter. Not helpful for smartphones and tablets. My computer showed wi-fi being available but if guests need this they should enquire about passwords on arrival as the hotel is not staffed 24 hours. There is a large hotel nearby that has restaurant for evening meals if required.

We were given a very convenient, well-lit, spacious apartment with an attractive view over a garden at the back of the 'hotel'. It was quiet and comfortable. Heiko and Gudrun were most friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided was good value. The parking space was very convenient. The Andante was an excellent base for visiting the nearby Schloss Wilhelmshoehe and the beautiful parkland around it. It is on the edge of Kassel, with a view over the city, and good public transport links. As its name suggests this is not a conventional hotel: breakfast is the only meal provided (exrtra). You can use the apartment kitchen or visit the excellent restaurant in the nearby Hotel Neue Drusel.

Friendly and helpful staff, apartment is nicely furnished, perfectly quiet location (even it's close to the road, no traffic noise in the rooms)

They should make internet cable available in each room (now available upon request)

gelungene, phantasievolle Ausstattung

Sehr laut! Direkt an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstraße gelegen. In den Zimmern zur Straße hört man den Verkehrslärm auch bei geschlossenem Fenster stark. Das Personal wirkte zum Teil etwas desorientiert und völlig überfordert.

очень уютный, просторный и чистый номер. прекрасный дизайн, есть полностью оборудованная кухня.

обслуживание - просто капец. ощущение, что там работают случайные люди, вообще, ничего не понимающие в гостиничном бизнесе. встретил меня довольно общительный джентльмен. на мой вопрос об интернете (на сайте отеля он гарантирован) джентльмен достал то ли из-под стола, то ли из штанов какую-то коробочку и сообщил, что она волшебная. впрочем, на этом все и закончилось - больше ни джентльмена, ни коробочки, ни интернета я не видела. вечером меня встретила довольно нервная дама, которая сообщила, что интернета нет и не будет (а мне он нужен был просто до зарезу!) тогда она кому-то позвонила, очень громко кричала (мне реально было страшно!), но результат остался нулевым. дальше - хуже. решила принять душ. вода - кипяток. температура вообще никак не регулировалась - крутила во все стороны. ошпареная и мокрая побежала на рецепцию - там уже никого:((( делать нечего, кое-как намылилась и смылась, смешивая с водой из раковины (там с водой было все в порядке). ужас. утром пришла на завтрак. совершенно очаровательная юная барышня пролепетала, что очень мне сочувствует, но с завтраком тоже какая-то засада. чтобы меня накормить, она отобрала тарелку с сыром и колбасками у человека за соседним столом. мне уже было все равно - лишь бы уехать поскорее.

Das Haus hat einen besonderen Charme. Für Kassel durchaus außergewöhnlich. Herzliche Begrüßung, stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer und ein liebevoller Umgang mit den Gästen. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen

Kassel is voor ons geen stad voor een stedentrip. Het was niet eenvoudig om 'avonds een goed restaurant te vinden. Het hotel was dan ook gekozen als tussenstop voor Praag. Vraag 3 is dus eigenlijk niet goed voor ons te beantwoorden.

Wunderbares Ambiente, sehr intelligente, geschmackvolle und am Bedarf orientierte Einrichtung. Es ist wirklich eine Villa, modern aber stilvoll umgebaut und eingerichtet. Freundliche Bedienung

In einem Fall war die junge Bedienung etwas überfordert, Frühstück, Zimmerservice und Abrechnung gleichzeitig zu machen. Sie war äußerst bemüht aber hatte zu viel gelichzeitig zu tun! Eine Frage der Personalführung bzw. - Ausstattung

Es war rundherum schön. Erwähnenswert sind auch die außergewöhnlich leckeren Torten, die wir im gemütlichen und stilvollen Café des Hause genossen haben.

riesige Zimmer mit allem, was man braucht! War völlig überrascht von der Dimension und der Ausstattung der Räume.

Leider funktionierte das W-Lan nicht in meinem Zimmer und trotz der Bemühung des Personals war ich wohl zu weit entfernt vomn Sender!

Der Empfang im Hotel war überaus freundlich und das Zimmer war super schön. Es entsprach ganz unserern Erwartungen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundilch.

In dem Zimmer mit Wasserbett keine Abdunklung, wenn man länger schlafen möchte.
