This family-run hotel is set in a historic villa in Potsdam. It offers a garden, daily breakfast buffets, and easy access to public transportation. The Griebnitzsee lake is half a mile away. The breakfast is served in this tiny little outhouse, where a kind lady will light a candle for you. And excellent for those who travel with children and won't eat out, there is a little kitchen upstairs, with all you need (microwave, waterboiler, etc).

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. It is a little off the beaten track if you do not have a car but easy access to train station (about 1/2 mile) Also good local transit. The breakfast is great and the garden is beautiful. We stay with our two older children and room was still large. Would stay here on our next visit. Beautiful area and very bike friendly.

I try and visit Germany once a year. It is no exaggeration to say that, for this price, this is probably the best value for money I have ever had in a German hotel or B&B. I don't know about the other floors but my level even boasted a kitchen with tea/ coffee making facility. Now, that is something that we Brits take for granted in our own country but don't often find in mainland Europe! Just be aware that, though it provides a great base for exploring Potsdam and the general Havel Lake District (and even Berlin too if you don't mind the commute), the location is essentially quiet, leafy residential - nearest bus stop about 600m, S-Bahn about 1000m - so, if you want to be in the 'thick' of it, it may not be the best place for you, but as a building it has bags of personality, a gem of a place.

We stayed for two nights with our 8 month old baby. We chose the location as it is 15 minutes walk from Griebnitzee campus where I attended a conference. The hotel building is impressive and our room was lovely. It was very spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We had our own bathroom which was very clean and had an excellent shower. The hotel provided a travel cot for our baby at no extra cost. The location is not very exciting, but if you have reason to be in that area I would highly recommend this hotel.

Ordentliches, schönes und großes Bad; Matratzen waren nicht durchgelegen; gute Anbindung an die Straßenbahn 99 Aufgrund der Größe des Hotels war das Frühstück sehr überschaubar und die Brötchen nur zum Teil frisch

freundliche "all in one" Empfangsdame; nettes Gartenhaus zum Frühstücken; sehr ruhig in grüner Umgebung; Filmpark Babelsberg kann auf kurzem Weg zu Fuß erreicht werden; Parken ist auf dem Grundstück möglich;

Das Zimmer war groß, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Bad war etwas sehr klein. Zum Frühstück muss man über den Hof in ein kleines Gartenhäuschen ... ist bei gutem Wetter aber kein Problem.

Das Zimmer mit Himmelbett, Kronleuchter und in freundlichem Gelb gestrichen machte es uns leicht uns wohlzufühlen. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Pavillon gibt dem ganzen einen urigen Touch. Gerne werden wir nochmal dorthin zurückkehren.

Liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Klasse Frühstück und sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Gute Lage für Veranstaltung im Lindenpark und Filmpark Babelsberg ! Fernseher war leider nur ein altes Mäusekino...

Wir haben uns im Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer für drei Erwachsene war großzügig geschnitten und charmant eingerichtet, passend zu dem alten Villenstil. Das Frühstück wurde in einem seperaten Gartenhäuschen angerichtet, es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Vielleicht schauen wir mal wieder rein!
