ante porta DAS STADTHOTEL    

We liked every aspect of normal hotel amenities found at the ante porta. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was perfectly designed for function and comfort, the bathroom answered all needs, the breakfast was sensational and the location superb. The parking was convenient and secure. I would stay at this hotel and any other just like it anywhere in the world if available.

There was nothing that we did not like.

New, clean modern hotel with friendly staff and service. Location was good as it is near tour ttractions and facilities. Housekeeping was excellent, and rooms were spacious and very clean. Near supermarket and car rental office too, and private parking available. Quiet with separate entrances.

Upper two floors not served by lifts.

A very good hotel. Bright, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent. A short walk from all sites and excellent restaurants.

Car park a bit of a squeeze as we had the last parking space right in the corner so we had to get our luggage out before parking while a motorbike took up a larger space which was not needed. This was not the fault of the hotel as it was on a first come first served basis for the reseved spaces.

This is a very pleasant surprise of a find of a new hotel in Trier which has great locations just ourside the old part of Trier. Everything in the hotel is very new and the stay was comfortable. Highly recommended! Parking and Breakfast are very resonable priced.

The internet is somewhat temperamental but it serves its purpose good enough.

Great roomy room, great shower, great staff. Breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced at 7.5 euros.

Nice family room with bathroom in the middle dividing the two rooms so like a mini appartment without a kitchen. Clean and very friendly staff

The family room is difficult to reach so stairs is easiest (4 flights) not suitable for people with a handicap

Very good, if not excellent hotel run by very helpful and charming staff. Quality of rooms was first class and hotel was excellent value for money. Location ideal for visiting Trier. Breakfast terrific.

We had problems with internet drops out and connection slowness. This occurred in our room on second floor, generally in peak morning and afternoon times.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. A short walk to the Trier old town main sites. Convenient on-site parking.

Nothing to dislike. Not cheap but you get good value for money.

Breakfast was great, huge and comfortable bed, nice balcony :) couple of minutes to the Porta Nigra.

The breakfast buffet was fabulous.

Clean, modern hotel just 10 mins walk from the city. Good breakfast, but no other meals available, though there are plenty of restaurants in the centre. Room was functional, clean attractive and quiet. Free internet.

You have to pay to park, though the car park is good and there are enough places.

please be aware that double beds in this hotel are actually two single beds together (even the bed linen is single). So not the ideal for young couples.

The location was ideal for access to downtown. The facilities were clean and modern.

Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Extremely good value for money and not too far from the centre. Well recommended!

It was a little bit further than we expected when walking from the train station.

On higher floor it feels like Motel with doors open to street so some street noise is noticed.
