Good location for our journey. Good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking.

Big, but basic room in a separate house down the hill from the main hotel - rather soul-less. Thin curtains so up early!

The little village of Eisborn is very off the beaten track - exactly what we were looking for. The Hotel is nice, reception area is newly remodeled and very chic. Breakfast was ok, though nothing special - something special from the Sauerland region would have been a nice touch...!

We wanted a quiet weekend away, somewhere remote, but nice. We actually put a lot of effort into the hotel search and ended up picking Antoniushütte because of its interesting look and -so far- good reviews. Unfortunately we weren't the only ones who liked the location - they had a huge wedding this Saturday! Now, we didn't really mind the fact that the staff seemed super busy and very stressed about this - a wedding needs more attention than we do. The catch was that we 1. were not informed about the festivities and 2. that the festivities went on until 5 or 6 in the morning. We live in the city, so we can sleep through almost anything, but that noise - mostly bass sound - kept us up almost all night. So much for the relaxing getaway! (- we did not complain to the wedding party, because we didn't think they should be the ones to cut short their big day/night. Rather the hotel should have communicated the facts, since they obviously couldn¡t comply with what they advocate.) Also, the room was big, the bathroom very small, but the room wasn't in the main house. We booked the comfort option, thinking it would land us in the main house, but the hotel information booklet showed that not all the room types they offer can be booked via booking.com 140/night was a steep price for what we got when compared to Sauerland prices. If you really want to stay here: CALL ahead, ask for a specific room (they all have different designs and there are three 'houses') but definitely ask if they have an event that weekend!!
