It was a great location and was clean.
The facilities were very basic, the single bed was a 'bunk', which was too small. There was nowhere comfortable to sit. And I was unable to cancel my booking when a friend's flat became available 3 weeks before my arrival date.
1. The location is excellent. 2. The staff was polite enough. 3. The decoration was decent. 4. The free parking place
1. You don't call it an apartment. You call it a tiny room with a kitchen, but not an apartment. It was one of the smallest room I' ve ever staying 2. Once you enter a room you realize that it smells bad. A smell from the bathroom. 3. There was only some soap for the hands. No shower gel or something like that. Not even something to wash the dishes, although, according to the rules of the hotel, you have to wash the dishes before leaving - which means you have to buy it. 4. The dishes in the cupborad were not clean. The water boiler was really dirty. Of course it is the client's obligation to clean them before leaving. But I guess the staff could check it before letting a new client in. 5. No internet in the room. I admit it is written on the hotel's page, but it is a minus for a hotel that offers less regarding the cleanliness etc. Generally, one can find many better hotels in Berlin for the same money.
no credit cards: cash only each night in different room (no apologies whatsforever) rude / Gemran attitude to the guests no lift (4th floor)
Just about everything, including the large windows, surprisingly quiet surroundings (flat facing backyard) and helpful staff. Location is ideal.
Very good accommodation for a simple and cheap place. Also good for those who like privacy. The region is well served by cafes and markets. Is close to the subway station Nollendorfplatz.
I missed a microwave in the studio.
-It was said WIFI was free at the rooms but it was not. The WIFI system named Telekom was logging off constantly -Room for one was pretty small
- Location - cleaning - big room
- No wifi - NOT HELPFUL STAFF - CLOGGED BATH TUBE
It was very clean. The parking was convenient, onsite, and free. Located not in the center but close to KaDeWe department store and train station if you need public transportation. Grocery store right close by and a nice coffee shop bakery for breakfast right next door.
It was loud with the train running right in front of the apartment. With the windows closed was ok but probably not good for a summer stay. No soap in bathroom for guests.
The kitchen and the location.
The man at the front desk was rude and stubborn! Wasn't very helpful when asking about tourist attractions.
Horrible wifi Very small room No toiletries Extremely overpriced
Location excellent! Bus and underground train in front of your doorstep, so are all types of restaurants and even a 24/7 super market. You have the free use of a very good washing machine and tumble dryer as well.
Central Location Roomy Apartment Really friendly staff on reception
Room wasnt very clean Bathroom was tiny Ironing board but no iron
The wifi did not work!!!
Cleanliness & Location
Appt 100 (Refurbished) Shower head faulty (poor thread - meant it shot off) The" fully equipped kitchen" comprised of refrigerator, 2 mugs, kettle, coffee maker,3 glasses, 1 spoon. No cleaning products or tea towel etc. Appt 109 Not refurbished, but same price. Was noisy, hot, poorly equiped.
Location was great for attending Folsom and close to U-Bahn
Some Roller blinds were broken and so black out was poor Traffic noise was high Room hot and no aircon No wine glasses, only two tumblers.
The location in terms of geography (Berlin-Schöneberg, just off the Nollendorfplatz) is very good for exploring Berlin on foot or by public transport, although the presence of an overground section of the Berlin underground railway immediately in front of the aparthotel makes it noisy, including in the rooms facing the rear of the building. Overall, I found the building to be modern and well-maintained and the room itself to be in a bright and clean state when I arrived. However, the cleaning facilities offered by the aparthotel thereafter are limited (i.e., if you want your room to remain bright and clean for the duration of your stay, you have to maintain it that way yourself and to live very carefully and tidily in a confined space).
Where to begin? There are unfortunately so many things about Aparthotel Marcié that make it difficult to like. First of all, I should say that the sum total of the impressions that I had from my stay is that this is an establishment whose management is not particularly interested in providing hospitality to its guests. For anyone who is considering staying here, I would suggest that they read the following points and decide whether they would still want to stay here: (1) Nature of the premises: rooms in the building are used both for aparthotel guests and long-term tenants - you therefore do not have the security and privacy of being in an exclusively hotel-type 'space' and will have to put up with the sights, sounds and smells of everyday life (cooking, televisions, vacuum-cleaning etc.), since, for some residents, this is their permanent home. (2) Size of room: the 1-person studio in which I stayed was extremely small and not really big enough for its advertised purpose as a studio apartment. The small size of the room was such that it was really quite uncomfortable and I was constantly making compromises on the things that I did (e.g. if your suitcase will not fit into the wardrobe, then you will sacrifice some of the already limited floor space). This does not give a sense of peace of mind to guests. From looking at the floor plan, most of the rooms on my floor are of the same size and the larger apartments (for 2 persons) are limited in number. Most of the advertisement pictures on the Booking.com website appear to be taken in the slightly larger 2-person rooms: therefore, if you book a 1-person room on the basis of these pictures, it is likely that you will be disappointed with the size of your room on arrival (as I was). (3) Accessibility: as some other reviewers have noted, there is a lift in the building, but it is not accessible for aparthotel guests.
Terrible service! Unbelievable! Worst hotel ever stayed! Don't ever stay here
Location is great for both travelling by car or using metro. Nicely equipted kitchen. Secured parking.
WiFi was terrible. Weak signal, low speed. Double bed was actually two twin beds which were not connected. Unpolite houskeeping rushing on last day to check out.
Just about everything else, the facilities are good, with dishwasher and clothing washer, but no detergent or clothing wash powder. kitchen is good, but not enough glasses, no wine glasses or wine opener, the glasses smell as there is no detergent … good place with horrible management.
It is few meters away from the metro, very accessible.
It was in the middle of summer when I stayed there. It was uncomfortably hot because there was only a ceiling fan in my room, no air conditioner. Otherwise it's great if you stay there on seasons other than summer.
Helpful people at reception Great location
Very low Internet signal. No air conditioning
No Wi-Fi, although they claim they have. Very weak signal and not work. No kitchen, only microwave and heater Room was clean, tidy, new goods
Facilities are not as described. No wi-fi and no kitchen
The room is clean and quite big . The location is nice just near to the Ubarn
The wifi is really weak and slow
The kitchen facilities and the location
The wifi was not reliable and did not work most of the time
The price is good. The location fantastic. The staff(when they are in the hotel) are very kind.
A little bit noisy. The reception could be open 24 horas, cause we have noone to complain about the problem in the bath, that doesn´t allow we use that during almost 1 day. Cold water changes to very hot in few seconds many times during a 5 minutes shower.
