We had a "personel guide", which told us about "Berlin etwas anderes", we walked around four hours and he told a lot about every thing we wanted to hear about, and it was very good and interesting, it was value for money. We visit the "Reistag" which was excelent, we sailed at the river Spree. The location could not be better. One of the apartments was in good condition, the other one was rub down.

The best feature of the apartments was their location, so near all the most historic and interesting parts of Berlin. The surrounding area also has a good selection of cafes resturants and bars. The main criticism I would have of the apartments are the lack of proper curtains. The curtains especially in the main bedroom were practically non-exsistant, the result of which we felt as if we were in a goldfish bowl when we were in the room! Explanatory information about the apartment should have been made available to us eg where to leave bins, how to use cooker etc. I also think that some basic utensils should be provided, like a sharpe knife, and a bottle opener and extra toilet rolls. Lighting in the bathroom needs to be made a bit brighter.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean spacious apartment. Great kitchen. Great views on to the street, Good location a short walk from places of interest to tourists, downtown Berlin and Subway/S-Bahn station. Safe neighbourhood. Good supermarket a block away. Marvellous place! Impractical white curtains in the bedrooms which let the light in at dawn. People on holiday are likely to stay up late and want to sleep untill they are good and ready in the morning. They really need to look into that issue and get proper dark curtains for the bedrooms.

The location was very good. Very spacious apartment. Basic essentials for the kitchen were sufficient. The carpet is indoor/outdoor making it ugly and it was stained in various places throughout the apartment. Needed to keep windows open for air because the apartment would not smell pleasant otherwise. Perhaps this is due to the awful carpeting. Walls are too white. Shower curtain is too small. Staff is very direct and cold. We stayed four nights and ran out of toilet paper, the staff said we would need to get our own. Did not like this because I would have chosen to get a hotel over the apartment but in Berlin they only allow two people per room making this a double expense. When asked for a taxi for our departure they sent us to the Hotel Adalon. Since we were four person and each had luggage the taxis that were available were too small. We asked the hotel to call us a bigger taxi and they did. Why couldn't your staff be more accommodating?

Location is superb - so central yet very calm and quiet. Very large comfortable apt, nice extra touch was the stereo staff was very helpful and quickly responded to my urgent e-mail when I found out my arrival flight would be delayed 2 hours so they left me the key in a coded box If you have late arrival and/or early departure internet is a problem. It is on a 'stick' and requires a 50 euro cash deposit. How can you get that back if you leave before 9 A.M. as I did? No problem with keys however. There is a drop box. However remember that the apts are not at this address, a short walk from there.

Location; spaciousness; quietness; convenience of self-catering -- all of these were big plusses for us. The staff tried to deal with the one thing that would prevent us from renting there again, including offering to move us to a different unit. It was our mistake to not take up that offer; we thought the problem that we found (see below) when we entered could be sloved and didn't want to move after settling in. It was worse than we thought. One thing that would make it impossible to stay there again: the bathroom reeked of urine; the toilet had not been properly cleaned (badly urine-stained) and was 'wobbly'. We had to buy air freshener to use before using the bathroom and toilet bowl cleaner to try to remove the urine stain in the bowl.

Location, big and comfortable bed, 1.Strange Service: We ordered the room 5 months ago, and we wanted them give us the room close to Brandenburger Tor, because our 2-year-old child wanted to see the firework. But we got the room exactly farthest to the Tor... Every times these unlucky things happened, we think these people did this to us just because our colour. 2.Expensive: with this price they should offer breakfast.

The staff was helpful. They allowed us to check in early and leave our bags at the Reception after we had checked out. Location was very convenient, a supermarket was close, and so were the subway station and city tour buses. The apartment was spacious. Even though the staff was flexible, the check-in and especially check- out times were rather inconvenient. The apartment was dated and did not live up to our expectations raised by the promotional picutres on the internet.

The booking staff were fre=iendly and plurilingual. The check in was open far longer than indicated by bookings.com and the process was simple. The area is safe and relatively free of noise given the location.

The location is fantastic, just a walk away from major tourist attractions (The Holocost memorial, Riechstag, Brandenburg gate, Teirgarten). The apartment was very spacious - huge rooms and living room. The Kitchen was reasonably equipet, though we could use a better quality pan and a microwave. Always plenty of hot water, but no soap. Clean enough to our needs. I guess it's a personal prefference, but we badly missed shades. It's true that when we asked the staff to help us, they responded quickly and hang dark shower curtains - it solved the problem, but gave a funny atmosphere to room. The servise person didn't speak any English, so with any request or question we had to walk over to the reception, some 200 meters down the street. We were a group of four, two of us slept well, the other two complained about the mattress.

The apartment is large and space matters. There is a well equipped kitchen with everything one needs. The beds are comfortable and the pillows - soft. There is a short walk to the supermarket "Hit", which has great food. Position in town is very good, but it is not for people who like lots of little cheap local restaurants, like in Kreuzberg or Prenz Berg. Overall it is an excellent place, especially for families who need space and cooking facilities. We bought an access to the internet and it did not work most of the time. The reception returned our money very happily, which indicates that the problem is common. I think the hotel needs to look into a proper access to the web. Otherwise one feels really cut off and, unlike in the cheap areas, there are no internet cafes around.

Apartments am Brandenburger Tor site at the best location, close to center of city and many sight see places... Few step away from bus , train station, 2 mines away walk from s, u underground, also have lots of restaurants around it ( Chinese, steak house, vegetarian, cafe......etc) Very nice and neat Apartment, basically got everything you need for cooking yourself.. But no daily house keeping clean service, so you need to prepare your own toilet paper for longer than 2 days starting.. It's a very nice place for few friends to share with and for a family to stay! No daily house keeping clean service, so you need to prepare your own toilet paper for longer than 2 days starting -no wifi internet service !! very dis-pointed ... REAlly need to improve asap!! Might lack of young and modern customers!

I will certainly recomend this place. Awesome location with every thing at stone's throw, specially the historical places & monuments. U's & Buses service are just outside and access to other art of Berlin is easy. Their Check-in & Check-out times are not friendly at all. I reached there from Marseilles at 7:30 am and was asked to stay out in the cold- that morning was "minus 3" - till they open the office at 9:00am. Nevertheless, one staff was good enough to let me in /check-in by about 8 in the morning. (Being int he Hospitality Industry, I know how the Front Office works - with a bit of charm and doing a pr dance did the trick I do not want to think of the nightmare of someone who wants to check-out for a late night or early morning flight connection. I suppose they just lock the apartment and walk away without handing over keys etc??? The so called data card internet they provide works at 1kbps speed against the claim of 7.5mb speed.

Cheap but never going to be here again !!! The room ok but the build was like for homeless. The picture that they have in the website was too good compare to the real one. I have seen the flat screen tv in the website once we got there tv was really old fashion tv. The room was bad smell. The bed was not comfortable at all ! The wash machine was really old and after wash my cloths, my cloths get a lot smaller. The internet cost only 5 Euro however, it was dam slow !!! I tried to open one website, it took like bloody 10-15 mins. As I mention good thing about this was cheap - but I will never stay there again !

Apartments am Brandenburger Tor is centrally located right next to the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Several embassies are nearby. Brandenburger Gate and the Reichstag Building are right around the corner and Museum Island, Checkpoint Charlie and the Topography of Terror are within reasonable walking distance or can be easily reached by a short drive. The Sony Center in Potsdamer Platz is also close. Several shops and restaurants and a grocery store are nearby. We only stayed one night but will definitely come back and stay longer in the future.

Location, location, location. The apartment is a 3 minute walk from Brandenburger Tor, 5 mins to the prestigious "Unter Den Linden" street and 10 mins away from the Reichstag. We could see the Holocaust memorial and Tier Park from the window. The apartment is extremely spacious with a huge living room, separate dining area and kitchen, nice comfortable beds and the kitchen even has a dishwasher and washing machine. I was amazed at how quiet it was considering it was just around the corner from some of the most visited sites in Berlin. I thought the 2 bedroom apartment which we reserved was excellent value for money considering how central it is and I would certainly stay there again.

Best organization of leasing the appartments - the office is the next door. A very spacious flat with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom (dish-washing machine, fan, washing machine, cooker, new tableware) and quite good furniture in bedrooms. We had 2-bedrooms flat with a nice dining-room and a kind of verandah. Close to the appartments are a supermarket and lots of cafe and restaurants. It is possible to leave luggage in the office after check-in. Before check-in it is nessesary to sign the contract. The location could be unpleasant for somebody - windows come to Jewish memory monument, which looks like a cemetery. The contract to sign is in deutsch - and for understanding they give a translation in english (separate copy).

It's within walking distance of a ton of tourist attractions. The u & s stations are within 150 yards since I was in the corner by the british embassy, but the complex is very big and you could stay slightly farther away depending on their availability. The price was reasonably low and our apartment was spacious. I enjoyed having a kitchen and would stay there again. Bed was a little hard and the tv is older. Inside lighting is kind of dim at night. No real big complaints as we didn't spend a fortune and it fit our needs well.
