Apartments Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The apartment was clean, pleasantly decorated, and location convenient.

I'm afraid our stay was a bit disappointing. It started by following directions to a place that was not where we were to stay. Once there we were scolded by neighbors for parking in the driveway of the house to which we were given directions. It was on a private street but we were not warned that we were to park elsewhere. Next, after driving to the actual apartment building, we were directed to pak in an underground garage. I mentioned that we had a large car. There was no warning that the car might be too big for the space, which it was. The driveway to the garage was a downhill spiral which did not allow for us to guide a big suv without scratching either the front or the rear of the car. We couldn't back up because of the hill and the curves. We also couldn't judge the problems ahead as we couldn't see past the turns. Once in the garage, there was hardly any place large enough to turn around to exit. I was almost in despair of being able to leave the garage. I couldn't have done it without my granddaughter watching closely the front and back of the car. Finally, the apartment was without soap of any kind in one of the bathrooms, enough toilet paper for one day in another, no paper towels to clean up after small kids in the kitchen, and while we were given complex instructions for how to recycle trash - a series of different colored plastic bags - only one color bag was in place. I was frustrated with the problems of dealing with small children who spilled, wanted to play with all the pretty small momentos left to make the rooms hospitable, and finding a parking place when we were told parking was available.

3Minutes walking to centre. Spacious appartment for people with children. Able to choose between talking a bus to the ski area (+- 15minutes) or just with own car (5minutes)

Cleaning could be better, there was a sock under our bed and a lot of dust in the appartment. Also no space to eat for 6 persons (table was only for four persons.)

Equipped kitchen.

Very smoked room after smoker, so no posibilities to ventilate. Just two full beds, the other 2 were just sofa bed. No exchange of towels during 4 days.

Loved the apartment in spite of the 46 stair climb. The views were magnificant.

The bed could have been bigger. Also, our paperwork stated check-in to be between 1600-2000hr. We arrived at 1800, waited an hour, went to get something to eat,came back at 2000 and only found a key with an address to the apartment. We couldn't find it in the dark and we were using a gps!!!!!!! We ended up going to the Edelweiss and asked for help. They found us a b&b for the first night. The following morning we were able to find the apartment in the daylight, went to check in and had a caretaker that spoke no English, would only take cash for the remainding six days, but was extremely helpful. She called the owner, who was on vacatioin in England, to straighten out what the remaining total of our bill was to be.. Basically, most of our 1st full day in Garmisch was spent dealing with all of this (which, by the way, was the only apartment rental we had problems with on this entire trip. The key pick- up location would have also been impossible to find in the dark!) The next problem occured when I tried to cook dinner. The lovely, beautiful induction cook top was locked in the off position and there were no directions on how to unlock it. We only had a contact phone number for the german only speaking caretakers soooooo, off to the tourist bureau on Monday for help. Again, someone called the owner in England, on vacation, for me to talk to. She was very put off by being interupted on her vacation and told me to be at the apartment at noon and a maid would come to show me how to unlock it. We stayed at the apartment waiting from 1030-1230 and no one arrived and never arrived for the entire week. I basically boiled eggs in the electric tea kettle and we had instant soup when necessary. So half of our 2nd full day in Garmisch was spent dealing with this. As much as we loved the apartment, I would not recommend it to anyone who doesn't speak fluent German (if the owner is on vacation!)

The apartment was comfortable. One was smaller than the other but nice. Close to the city center for shopping.

The check in process was awful. We had to call someone to come to check us into the apartments. She did not speak any English but we were able to communicate some and get our keys. The apartments were 2 1/2 miles apart. Since they were booked together, we expected to be staying in the same building or at least closer together. I would not recommend staying if you have more than one apartment.

I have visted Garmisch before and a couple of the girls I was with had visited a couple of times. This owner is providing false information about her apartments and we were extremely disappointed. When we arrived we knew we were now close to Garmisch and certainly not walking distance. The owner needs to specify that her apartments are close to Partenkirchen downtown not downtown Garmisch. She also says that there is internet... there is not. When we arrived the owner told us that only 'some' apartments have internet, not all. This was extremely disappointing because be booked this apartment because of the internet access. We only had one roll of toilet paper for 5 people to last our entire stay. I was so upset driving to the apartment knowing we were going further and further away from where we thought we were staying (in downtown Garmisch). She advertises the address which you pick up your keys which is closer to Garmisch, not your apartment which could be 15 minutes in another direction. We were extremely disappointed. And when I voiced my concerns I was told that "I must be tired and to get some rest." I live in Europe so I was not tired and didn't have a long day of traveling to get me there; I was upset because I felt lied to. Then she blames booking.com for their advertising when clearly she has to tell the site what her apartments offer. It was a disappointing stay. Keep looking for a better place!

Our apartment was very cute. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was centrally located and the view was nice.

The pull out couch was NOT comfortable and it was very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Also the coffee pot had old grinds in it.

Beautiful apartment. Nice view of the alps when it is clear. Very clean. Well stocked.

It took us nearly 20 mins to find our apartment while at the correct address. A little map of the condo compound would have made it easier. I think it should have advertised one room and a convertible couch, rather than two rooms. We made it work, but the living room wasn't really for the group bc it was a bedroom. Also, there was no wireless as advertised. We had to walk 15 mins to a cafe, which is what the apartment was referring to as its "hotspot". That being said, we liked it very much. We just wish there were fewer surprises.

The gps coordinates are wrong, but the given address is correct.

Bad, horrible place I would never ever go back there! First there was no reception, no communication! (No telephones or even Internet). It says that the apartment has 3 rooms, but actually it has one real room and the others were storages that fits one bag not two human beings !!!! My children had to sleep in the living room! No elevators, and our apartment was in fact the roof of the building. When comparing the rate of the apartment and the facilities it has, it doesn't worth a singl Cent. I do not recommend this apartment even if it was the only one in the whole universe.

Although the apartment was fair, I want to inform everyone of what happened to us. Along with the key to the apartment, which was in another part of GaPa, the owner gave us basic information concerning the location and ski lifts. On our departure we were asked to leave the key in her mail box, only to find out 2 days later that we "left the place in a disastrous condition with a fork and spoon missing" ! The owner charged us money on my credit card using the details she had obtained when I was paying for the stay. The transaction was unauthorised and so we have been actually robbed. In her email to Booking.com the lady stated that:"the guests were from Poland and they did not understand." ?! Steer clear, or don't be taken in by the lady's kindness and ask for written statement about the condition of the appartment on your departure and be careful with your credit card. Joanna

Nice apartment, perfect for a stay with friends or family. Nice big round table in the dinning room where you can eat, drink and talk. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is clean. And finally it has a nice balcony where you can enjoy the evening-sun.

Only negative point is that you need a car if you want to go to the centre of the city to go to the nice restaurants or bars. But if you have a car then this poses no problem and finding parking-spots in the city was also no problem.

It's provided by agency that manages 100 appartments in the town. Nobody knows which appartment you will get - so do no trust photos and description. Our appartment was rather good, but no wifi (free or paid!) was there.

There was no wifi in the appartment (there was one network - but no password was given and it was not even promised)! There was no non-free wifi networks available in the house too. I had to buy Vodafone USB modem and spend EUR 60 on it (and couple of hours searching for the shop that sells it and making purchase of it). If I could, I would ask for compensation, but the agency resides in suburbs of the town, it's difficult to find their office there! When booking the appartment, tell that you need Wifi in comments or ask for refund.

Все аппартаменты находятся в разных местах. Наши аппартаменты находились на расстоянии 5-7 минут ходьбы друг от друга.

При бронировании было написано, что в апартаментах две ванные комнаты на месте оказалось что одна. Сложности с подключением к интернету.

Осторожно здесь обманывают! Я и моя семья, двое взрослых и двое детей, забронировали четырехзвездочные двухкомнатные апартаменты площадью 65 кв.м., оформленные в загородном стиле на период с 08.01.13 по 15.01.13.Каково же было наше удивление, когда нам предоставили 35 метровую квартиру на четвертом этаже отеля Mercure, к которому она не имела никакого отношения. Описание на сайте не соответствует действительности. Маленькая кухня с допотопной плитой, без посудомоечной машины, без СВЧ, с очень маленьким чайником на 0,5 литра. Кровать в гостиной упиралась в обеденный стол. Коридор маленький, что и двум детям не развернуться. Второе спальное место было готово развалиться в любой момент. Ну и все остальное в таком же духе. На нашу претензию, что это не то что мы бронировали хозяйка ответила: "У меня других нет!". Так что на месте такие проблемы не решить.Остерегайтесь этих апартаментов. Ваши ожидания могут быть обмануты.

Отличное месторасположение.

Не достоверная информация о наличии 2 туалетов. Не смотря на оплату интернета, так его и не было. Не дружелюбная хозяйка.

Czystość, komfort, wyposażenie. Zależało nam na ekonomicznym wypadzie rodzinnym w Alpy i się udało. Świetnym rozwiązaniem była kompletnie wyposażona kuchnia - mogliśmy szybko i sprawnie przygotować tani posiłek. Super!!! Jedziemy w Alpy raz jeszcze, w innej porze roku i na pewno wybierzemy to samo lokum.

Jedynym mankamentem było to że meldunek następuje na jednym końcu miasta zaś apartament usytuowany jest na drugim końcu miasta.

Absolut nichts

Wir haben nicht das erhalten was wir gebucht haben.Duschvorhang an der Badewanne fehlt. Armatur an der Badewanne funktioniert nicht. Wasserabfluss in der ganzen Wohnung mangelhaft.Fenster im Bad musste mein Mann reparieren.( ging nicht zu öffnen).Die Küche ist für Single gedacht nicht für mehrere Personen . Strom gibt es nur aus Dreifachsteckdosen. Desweiteren gibt es kein Ehebett sondern 4 getrennte Schlafplätze. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis Katastrophe. Außerdem befindet sich die Wohnung an einer viel befahrenen Fernpassstraße.Ich kann jedem nur davon abraten das zu buchen.
