The nearby town of Esslingen was much more interesting.
The nearby town of Esslingen was much more interesting. I understand Ostfildern was heavily damaged during the war, so doesn't have the charming medieval buildings and streets of Esslingen. We did visit the Ostfildern cemetery which was interesting, but all in all, not much in the town itself. I did have a terrific trout dinner at the hotel though!

It an old style hotel but maintained very well, clean and tidy. My compliments to the breakfast options offered. Small various buns are freshly made each morning. If you like sweet pastry, you have to be fast, otherwise you won't get any if the hotel is full. Free entry tickets to public pool are offered at the reception. Personnel is very friendly.

We got in our room immediately with no problems. There was a very nice indoor parking area. Around the hotel is very nice, and with close proximity to stuttgard and metzingen and airport. They also put little biscuits on all our pillows as welcome gift and it was super sweet.
