Appartementhotel Hamburg  

Clean comfortable room with a small kitchen and big tv. Wallking distance to Aldi supermarket. Nice helpful receptionists. Quiet neighborhood a little bit away from main city attractions, but close to a bus stop and not far away from S-station. Hotel has its own, not very big, parking space, or there is always a place on the street to park. I used my car, so it was only a short ride to the center or Altona without any issues with night parking.

Can't really complain for anything serious, especially in this price range.

I loved the room - it really was very big for us as a couple, not like you see in the pictures. The bed was very confortable and the sheets were great. We had all we needed in the room. The parking was close, safe, great. I also liked the staff - friendly, gave you maps and directions for everything you wanted to see in Hamburg. It is not very close to the center, but it is on a main U-bahn line and it is pretty straight-forward to get around Hamburg so this was not a problem either.

The breakfast was not very great - not a wide variety of choice for breakfast, no cereals.

Nice kitchen, even toaster & availability of an oven. Good internet connection as well. 24hr open reception.

We specifically asked for non-smokers. The room had been used by smokers before (smell was there, in the pillows/sheets + ashtray etcetera). The breakfast also looked very meager, but good thing we didn't take it.

Appartmenthotel Hamburg is clean and comfortable - great value for a weekend break. It's about a 10 minute walk from the nearest U-bahn and less than 10 minutes into the city centre.

The only minor downside to Appartmenthotel Hamburg is that there's not much in the way of pubs/restaurants etc. close by - a slight drawback if you arrive late on a cold winter's night!

Kitchen facilities.

Very spacious and clean room; good kitchenette, small appliances and utensils; kind and helpful hotel staff, especially reception; comfortable beds; there are Aldi, Burger King and McDonald's nearby.

Not very near to the underground station, approximately 700m.

Almost fully equipped kitchen, although we missed small packages of e.g. salt/sugar/cooking oil which could have been part of the apartment instead of too large flat screen tv. Despite of big rooms, heating system worked perfectly, comfy beds, quiet rooms, friendly staff at reception.

Rooms require a little face-lift. Location a bit far away although 500 m to the closest metro station from where it is less than 5 minutes to the city center. Free parking on hotel grounds but too few spaces available. Possibly free parking also on the street.

The hotel is value for money,seems to be an old office building which has been converted. I last stayed there regularly 2 years ago and saw how the owners continually upgraded the decor of the hotel. I stopped using the hotel because my place of work changed. The price unfortunately has since then also risen slightly, My room had a large Flat Screen Television. All rooms have a Kitchen area equiped with Fridge, oven, hotplates and coffee percolator (filters were provided) and all the cooking utensils you need for a short stay. Bathroom is dated. Accomodation was Clean and tidy. There is a supermarket on the main road about 6-700 metres away where you can buy provisions. Wlan offered but I did not use it.

As with all hotels of this grade / price there is a downside, here if you rely on Public Transport the 10 minute walk to the nearest underground/train station may put you off. (But there is a bus stop near the hotel). If you are wheelchair bound the hotel is not suitable.

The Staff is very friendly

Good location (five-ten minutes to the neares metro station). Friendly stuff. Clean and large rooms, equipped with kitchens

It would be nice to have a microwave oven.

I've stayed here before, excellent location and faclities. Runnining Alsterlauf 10km Sunday morning, hotel good location and great faciities. I've my dog with me, no extra charge for the boy and ground floor room which is ideal. Big football group at the same ime as my stay but still good night's sleepand would stay here again.

The hotel is located very near of the city center, the main train station is just two stops from the hotel. The room was big, comfortable and equiped with also staff for kitchen.

The breakfast was very bad and does not worth for the price.
