    Great location. Easy parking.

A fan in the room would have helped. I little warm at night when no air was circulating in the room.

Nice room in a very fresh and stylish hotel with nice café.

Very confusing breakfast deal. We thought it was included and was informed that we could order anything from the cafe. Then we were charged for it.

Unfriendly reception (you are left waiting while the cafe customers are served) No breakfast - go to Einstein for good value Drunken shouting in the street all night

My wife and I were very impressed about our stay at the Aran Hotel!! We had a 5-Star stay, what a charming and excellent Local Hotel! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. From the beautiful location in the courtyard of the old city, it is an easy walk to all the sites in Koblenz! There is a cafe located on the first floor which serves fantastic meals! We cant wait to come back and stay here again! It is the only place you should stay in downtown Koblenz

    Not a thing...

Location was great, with great view of the square. Breakfast was very, very good.

Staff were too preoccupied with serving customers in the coffee shop to assist with checkout process. Took 20 minutes to checkout.

Lovely hotel, lovely coffee shop at the ground floor, great location. Room was very clean, big bathroom, comfortable bed. Friendly welcome, although there were a lot of customers in the coffee shop that we've checked in (no lobby). Staffs were very helpful and did offer us to carry the luggage, even though we had only backpacks. Fresh, tasty and excellent breakfast (not included in the room rate). Shut the window and barely hear the noise from outside. Very enjoyable stay there and highly recommended.

No elevator but it wasn't a problem for us. No parking but there are a lot of parking lots nearby.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. Ideal location in the heart of town with great bars and restaurants close by.

I would class this more of a guest house than a hotel as there are no facilities after 18:00, after which time access is via a side door. We were on the 3rd floor and the lack of an elevator made the steep climb to the rooms was a bit of a shelp

Very friendly welcome to this nicely situated hotel. Room was overlooking small square and was very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and good size. Complimentary bottled water replenished each day though no tea/coffee making facilities. Very enjoyable stay at the Aran Hotel.

Some of the staff were quite kind. Buttery croissants.

Other staff nasty. This is not a hotel at all, but a collection of desolate corridors and former apartments above a bakery. No elevator, so too bad if you are on the third floor, and be careful not to bump your head on the stairwell ceiling if you are over six feet tall. Luckless bakery boy at the cash register (there is no reception and no lobby) under strict orders to let nobody in until 4 PM, housekeeping not allowed to accommodate anyone arriving earlier, but he evaded the rules for us, thanks, kid! Place shuts down at bakery closing time so you are utterly on your own after 6 PM. Insanely overpriced. Noisy; the usual drunken revelers on the main square uttering their inarticulate cries until dawn. Avoid at all costs.

The hotel is right in the Altstadt, easy to walk everywhere.

The staff at the reception are rude and it seems they don´t want to help in any way. Stairs are heavy and there is no lift so you have to carry your luggage and it is not easy.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating so much so that they even let us remain in our room until late in the afternoon so we could relax before our long flight home to Australia. We booked two rooms; a large corner suite and a smaller adjacent room which was perfect for our family - just like having a large 2 room apartment. The cafe on the ground floor is excellent for breakfast and lunch - and good value for money. After travelling around Europe for 7 weeks staying in 14 hotels - all booked through and most of them with a rating of 9.0 or better, Hotel aran should be rated in the 9'S. Other reviews point out the stairs but if you are staying in old cities in Europe what would you expect - my family had no problem at all with the stairs. Highly recommended

The hotel location is very good which is very close to river port station. And hotel staffs are extremely friendly. The bath room is very clean and big.

Location is excellent...close to all the attractions; bed comfortable. Although, there are some dislikes, overall, it's location more than makes up for them.

Difficult to find and access by car, since it is in a pedestrian zone; no on-site parking; ground floor is a café, so staff have double duty, primarily café duty; no elevator, so difficult to reach room floor.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Koblenz. Very modern and exceptionally well maintained and clean. Breakfast was superb and all freshly made. Excellent for stopover/short stay. Very well situated but remember that town centres can be a bit noisy at night.

Public parking a few minutes from hotel and you couldn't actually drive to the hotel itself so be prepared for trolley bags (not really a problem you just need to be aware). Stairs were quite steep and no lift.

Great location in the center of town. Simple but elegant. No lobby, but lovely coffee shop that handles registration, etc. Helpful staff, spoke English

Our room was a fourth floor walk up. It worked out fine for us, but might be a problem for others.

Location was very good and close to the cruise liner docking pier.

Quite noisy in the evening as the hotel overlooked a busy restaurant area.
