Restaurant Facette:
Here, you can try regional dishes featuring fresh, natural ingredients, and enjoy the view from the large windows. Get your day off to a perfect start with the breakfast buffet which is available between 06:30 and 10:30. At weekends and on public holidays, breakfast is available until 11:30.

The bar offers 60 rare, top-quality gins from around the world. The extensive list features classic drinks whose traditional recipes are enhanced with new, extravagant ingredients.
White oak interiors and warm red leather furnishings create an extra touch of class. The shape and colour of the main bed are inspired by the sun rising and setting over the sea. The windows are soundproofed and some of the bathrooms are open-plan. All bathrooms feature red lighting.
Look forward to high-speed internet access, air conditioning, a Flatscreen TV including DVD/CD player and a cordless telephone.
From the hotel you can walk through the nearby park to reach a beautiful jogging route along the Outer Alster lake.
The Hotel Rubin is well served by public transport. The Lohmühlenstraße is only metres away. It provides easy access to the main railway station, the shopping streets along the Alster river, the port and the exhibition centre.

The hotel is nicely decorated and rather modern. Rooms are quite fine. Brekfast is ecellent. Lots of seating in lobby and in the bar on first floor. Wireless internet is only available in the lobby but then free of charge. Connection speed is rather slow. In one wants to connect to the internet in the room a cable is needed and that one is not available in the reception. After check-in one is guided by the porter and taught to use the elevator, open the room, put on the lights and use the TV. Good intention but rather irritating. |

Only three minutes walk to Lange Reine for a wealth of dinner options Sauna officially opens at 5 pm, although the fitness center has daytime hours. Hotel states that they would turn on the sauna for use during daytime with notice, but I didn't try this option. |

We were offered an upgrade to a suite at a very good price and the room we got was huge! The American breakfast is expensive and there is no information available to tell you that the normal breakfast is served in a different area. When you ask the clerks they direct you to the breakfast buffet and the surprise comes when you check out. 17 eu per person per day! |

Lobby and cafe are well designed. Room is standard but clean. The behaviour of the front desk clerk was somewhat bizarre and a little unprofessional. The hotel is not located in a very good part of town. No coffee making facilities in the room. |

staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel was located in a vibrant part of the city, in an interesting area to walk around in. could not connect to internet despite the staffs' best efforts. i do not know whether this was because of the connection available at the hotel or had something to do with my laptop. as i was in hamburg on business this was a big problem. however, the hotel has its own computers for guest use, which connect to the internet without any problems at all. |

Service, Buffet variety and quality, comfort at the room, parking facilities, just a perfect stay. Customers should be informed about the fact, that the id-card (access to elevator!) will be disabled immediately at 1200 on departure day. We took our luggage to the car at 1155, and on our return 6 minutes later we were locked out in the garage. Had to queue up for 15 minutes for reactivation of the card. |

Zimmer war sehr groß, 2 WC´s vorhanden, auch das Bad war schön groß und seperate Toilette, Frühstück, wir mußten 10 min auf Brötchen und Tost warten, sehr kleine Wurstplatten, höchstens für 2 Personen, ständig leer, Käsetablett und Käsemesser waren sehr schmutzig, wurde nicht gewechselt, Waffelteig auch nur auf Nachfrage und dann selbst backen, für den Preis sehr schlecht, |
