The hotel was 450 us dollars for 3 nights but had no TV, no internet and a completely broken shower. Our water temperature went from blazing hot to freezing every other minute and the room was so small we couldn't fit the two carry on suitcases (which was all our luggage) anywhere but in front of the door. I would never recommend it for this price!

Good price, good location, nice rooms and furniture.

The Location is good. But the standard and the design of the room was very bad indeed.

Obs!!! 1. The reception is closed after 10.00 PM. This info wasn't available on the booking.com. 2. The Design of the room very bad and not confortable. The WC and the bath room. To Samll 3. If the reception is close after 10.00 PM. Then you should make the phone possible to some one could call directly to the room. Of all the above points the last ONE Number 3 is the most important, which i really think that you should have been thinking about before. But believe me it's really important. It cost to much much to be called on the mobile. So it's much more economical to have the possibility that some could be reached on the hotel room. This is also very easy for you to make it possible. Please check it and inform. I maybe need to come back to Köln. So i would like to know taht in case your reception is closed after 10.00 PM, then there is still the possibility to receive a phone call on my room. Looking forward to hearing from you. Very efficient, flexible and friendly service. Good breakfast buffet. Very good value for money and unbeatable location.

I would optimize space in the single rooms by choosing a chair that actually fits under the desk. Plumbing could be looked at, as it can get a bit noisy- maybe you should just check out room 109.

I can understand the mimitations of small space, but the layout of the rooms are uncomfortably awkward, and the facilities were deficient (shower did not have constant temperatures, shifted painfully from icy to boiling, and toilet broke).

The hotel is in a good location and quiet area.

The hotel needs a lot of updating. The paint was peeling and the wallpaper looked tired. The towels looked about 15 years old. The rooms are quite small and we asked for a double and got two singles pushed together which is fine but they could have had double sheets and duvets rather than singles. If I had paid more than the €200 for 3 nights I think I would definitely have complained..

The location

The rooms are rather little

Superb location in the heart of Cologne, within easy walking distance of all major sites. Comfortable, clean room, with an excellent breakfast and very helpful staff.

Some of the room facilities are a bit worn, and there was some trouble with water leakage. But nothing too serious.
