This hotel was fabulous. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was great-spacious for European hotel room, and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Spacious, attractive, clean room in an historic building. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location and site within the cloister of the monastery are great.

While we stayed, there was construction going on, with some noise, and scaffolding across the windows, enabling workers to look inside.

This hotel was a ten minute walk from the Dom and also from the old town. It had a great breakfast and was clean and quiet. Very nice staff.

We had a double bed tucked into a corner and I had to crawl over my husband to get in and out of bed. Next time I would ask for another room after viewing it.

I booked this hotel for my parents as a Xmas gift, to give them a chance to visit Bamberg. They absolutely loved it and recommend it. The rooms are not super modern but that didn't impact the experience. The location is easy access to the city and definitely recommend reserving a parking if you are driving, as it is not easy to find parking in the city. The rooms are super clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and great spread at breakfast.

I would not recommend to stay there in young kids still in a push chair. Not because of the hotel, but the city is too hilly with a lot of steps.

our stay at arkadenhotel was wonderful. We were traveling with our teenage boys and stayed in a large, clean, beautiful room. Parking is very convenient. Location is very close to "old town" and to the Dom. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Would be problematic for those with mobility problems as hotel is accessed from road/carpark via steps, also when we stayed the hotel lift was not working.

Large clean room with a great breakfast spread. If our travels bring us through Bamberg again, we'll be staying here.

The only thing, and it's minor, is if you are a very light sleeper, you can hear people walking down the hall in the middle of the night.

I thought the room and hotel had character, not just an ordinary room like most hotels. Although old looking from the outside, inside was wonderfully decorated and the braekfast was very good, plenty of choice. Will stay again when traveling in that area.

Huge well-furnished room. Superb breakfast with a lot of home-made bakery and fresh fruit. Very quiet at night.

I love the building and the room so much. Very classic and I felt like I live in a small castle! The view of the window is great. I spend sometime to taking pic after I walk in the room. The staffs is really friendly. The front door have a very good environment too. Lovely!

Have to pay for the parking! And if you arrive after 7, please make sure you call them before. Or the staff will leave after that.

Absolutely beautiful. Great location 5 mins walk to town. Bamerg is is a must stay place so beautiful and to stay at the kloisters was part of the experience.

We can't rate the breakfast as we didn't take that option it is supposed to be good too.
