Art Hotel Aachen  

Clean room, good beds.

It's called 'Art' Hotel, but it turned out to be a 'Sport' hotel with the rather loud local semi-pro team Allamania Aachen yelling en screaming in the room next to me untill 23:30.

Very good price/quality ratio. Comfortable hotel, in a quiet neighbourhood with free parking. It was easy to reach the city center by car.

The swimming pool was not available during our stay and we have not been informed until we saw it. Breakfast is rather expensive so we didn't take it at the hotel.

We got a great deal. Certainly worth the money. Free use of swimming pool. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Sounds from the road were inaudible in the room. Great! Good bus connections to the city centre.

Great location, 20 minutes walk in to city.Excellent for local transport.Large rooms, clean and comfortable with tv and minibar.Swimmimg pool was an added bonus.Staff spoke very good English and were very helpful.

Parking could be a bit of a pain if you returned to the hotel late.Had to park out on the road one night.Unless you got up and down for breakfast before 8.30 there was a very limited choice of breads, rolls and hot food. It just wasn't replenished ,even though breakfast is said to be served up until 10.30.

Good sized rooms, very clean & comfortable, excellent facilities in the room & hotel. The staff were friendly & helpfull.

Although we didn't opt for breakfast we thought it was a bit exspensive.

The swimming pool was a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day and made the stay especially enjoyable. The whole place was absolutely spotless and very tastefully furnished. There was even a terrace where we could have enjoyed breakfast if the weather had co-operated.

Before I booked, I read the recent customer reviews. Based on these, I agree it would have been nice to have had tea-making facilities, although this is not so common in Germany. The breakfast buffet was not re-filled while we were there, so better get up promptly to have the full choice, but there was still plenty left. And I, too, did wonder when the bread rolls had been baked, but they were still perfectly edible

Nice rooms, comfortable and very clean. Not really big, but for 1 overnight it's perfect. Free parking space behind the hotel. Restaurant has good food and has a good value for money. Reception is polite and neat.

Restaurant could be a little more cosy. Location is not ideal, took me at least 15 minutes before getting on the highway.

We were looking for a quiet and not too expensive hotel with free parking and Art Hotel Aachen was exactly what we needed. Nice staff. We had a nice stay here, thanks.

Our complaint for many hotels - in a double room there could be one double mattress and not two single moved together... Oh, and the info could have been in English, too.
