Strange place full of 'modern art'. That said the rooms are large and the rate fair. The 'art' and the view of the back yard that includes a noisey smookers area plus chickens !! |

The hotel is really fun and unique. Filled with art. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was helpful and corteous. I was able to view the artist`s rooms which are huge and very colorful. It was very quiet and the temperature of my room was fine. The train station is very close. |

very different and interesting hotel with a good frendly approch to customers. rooms are large and well appointed if a little quirky. staff where helpful and polite and 90% where english speaking (which is good if like me you are rubbish with other languages !!!!) on the whole the hotel is one of the best budget hotels i have stayed in in europe 10/10 there was too much salt in the food appart from that it was good value for money |

The private sauna is an excellent idea, though no instructions in the room. I eventually figured it out but wasted valuable time. Extremely overpriced for a tired and shabby hotel that looks like it has employed the local kidergarten to decorate it to become an "Art Hotel". The reception was dark and smelt of stale water and the rooms stank of stale smoke. The phone in the room did not work for the duration of stay despite 2 requests to get it fixed. An awful and expensive experience not to be repeated! |

Free internet, nice rooms, funny furniture... In this hotel you'll find how to render an ugly factory building to a nice place to stay in. Be prepared to see unusual design solutions and funny looking ornaments. Otherwise, you'll find everything that is standard in a hotel. By car you can reach Elberfeld city in about fifteen minutes. There is virtually nothing around, so you'll need a car. They have a tiny parking lot, make sure you master your car before trying to squize in yours. |

Very interesting concepts mixing new design and function. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening, but greatly enjoyed the breakfast. Reception staff were friendly and spoke good English. My husband was suffering from back pain at the time and found the stairs down to the reception area from the street very difficult to negotiate. How do disabled people in wheel-chairs gain entry? We were not given any help in this respect. The lifts, though, were easy and comfortable for him to use. |

Room was dirty, stank like cigarettes, mattress was finished, staff was uncaring. There isn't a positive thing to say about this hotel. |

The hotel staff were unprofessional and did not show care for me as a guest at this hotel after the distressing experience of having a male guest enter my room with a swipe card issued by the front desk. When notifying staff of this, I was simply strugged off and left feeling very insecure and upset. There was no internal locking system on the door. |
