Arthotel Heidelberg  

My wife and I loved the Arthotel. It was referred to us by one of my business associates at SAP - and when I met with him I shook his hand and thanked him very much for telling us about the hotel. The staff was excellent - the food was fantastic - and the rooms were perfect. While my primary reason for being in Germany was due to business - part was also vacation - which is why my wife was also with me. Both she and I would in fact go back to Heidelberg...and staying at the Arthotel would be a must. Totally part of the Heidelberg culture and experience.

The only thing that I did not like about the Arthotel was the WiFi connection. It was spotty at best and difficult to connect to. The main issue I had was with my iPad which could not be hard wired to the LAN. Not an issue - but had I known I would have brought my MAC Air and plugged directly in. Again - not an issue - but perhaps a word of warning on the web site would have helped me prepare better for my trip. As a note - this was the only reason why I rated the Services as "Good" instead of "Excellent".

Good location, modern and very comfortable hotel.

We arrived at 23.45 and there were nothing to eat. It was possible only to have a cup of tea, there were no snacks, no chokolate - that's very bad.

Excellent restaurant, friendly staff, walking distance to hauptstasse and castle.

Great bathroom and nice lighting at the windows. Excellent location for old town access.

Very nice staff, nicely appointed room of above average size, great location, practical parking, very good breakfast.

We booked a comfort room, which was very good, however the picture of booking.com of this type of room does not correspond to the room we got. Our room was smaller, without a sofa, less windows, etc. Disappointing. Also, as the breakfast, parking, internet and baby cot were not included in the price, the final bill was substantially higher than the price of the room. Something we knew, however to keep in mind when comparing prices.

really friendly staff : bravo to those who recruited the team ! The restaurant provides for very good casual food as well as a fine breakfast. The price is not a bargain but the quality is there so : no complaints ;o)

Really cool hotel. Very clean. Excellent location. Great ambience. Reasonable prices. Will definitely come back again.

It was a real pleasure to stay here. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was really friendly!

Hotel is located ideally close to old sectionand university. The room was large and very well appointed with very large bathroom..shower and bath. The staff excellent and helpful. We had to leave a day early to return to Australia because of potential ash problem from volcano - they were very understanding. If you are in car, venture out to nearby towns - they will help with directions. Dining was very good.

A localização é muito boa . o café da manha é bem servido e as instalações do hotel são modernas. Para quem vai de carro tem como opção um estacionamento publico grande bem em frente, pagamos 7 euros pela diária.

Die Größe des Zimmers war gut. Die Ausstattung war bis auf Minibar und tv ganz O.K. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Optimal war ebenfalls die Parkmöglichkeit in der hauseigenen Tiefgarage.

Das Zimmer hatte keine Minibar. Der Fernseher im Zimmer war im Verhältnis zur Zimmergröße etwas zu klein. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Dachschräge. Beim vorbeigehen am Bett mußte man aufpassen, sich nicht am freistehenden Fachwerk den Kopf zu stoßen.
