The shower curtain was terrible! After a few seconds the whole bathroom was a mess.

- underground parking by drive-in elevator but, due to inconsiderate parking by others, no spot. Backing back into the elevator very tricky - felt with the feeling that "nobody cares about anything here"

Quiet neighbourghood, hotel localized directly in the city centre, close to all main attractions. The metro station (Markisches Museum) just opposite the hotel entrance. Hotel offers very good breakfast. Simply furnished, clean rooms.

The friendly staff at reception who had time to chat and answer every query.

"Wet room"-type shower: meant we had to paddle across the bathroom most of the time.

Good location, right at the metro station, quiet area, but close to Postdamer platz.

The walls are very thin, and all steps could be heard from the corridor. The hotel is older in reality than what you can see on the pictures.

The shower in the bathroom didn't have a lip of any sort so it got water all over the floor, even when using the provided bath mat.

It was definitely not what we expected for the price. Though we had requested an early check-in, we were quite sharply told when we arrived that no rooms were available yet. Though this problem was quickly solved, the welcome wasn't very nice. The room was much smaller than the pictures indicate, and on inspection of the shower we saw there was mold growing in the grout. The appliances in the bathroom, including the mirror had rust spots all over it. We asked for another room, which was promptly given, however, though it was on the "nonsmoking' floor, when I entered the room you could smell smoke everywhere. Especially since we were traveling with a baby this was very unwelcome, and essentially we had to choose between the lesser of two evils. Additionally the free wifi in the rooms was extremely slow and unreliable, and the computer in the lobby charged per minute of internet usage.

Everthing was nice the staff and location is the best.

Comfortable hotel, conveniently located for visiting Mitte, Kreutzberg and Friedrichshain. U line very close. Good breakfast buffet (included in our rate) Bike rental at the hotel. Staff is nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Very good location (U2-bahn Märkisches museum station 50 meters), excellent breakfast, with all kinds of eggs, meat, fish (eg.salmon). Helpful staff, nice waiters. Good free wifi, but for downloading videos too slow. Pay per view tv with football coverage (12 eur per day).

The rooms were said to be 25 m2 size when we booked them, but really they were small, definetaly not bigger than 18 m2. Very small wardrobe, I cannot even call it a wardrobe, without any shelves and with only 1 drawer. The breakfast restaurant is partially closed, and you cannot enter the lightest room if the others are not full.

I enjoyed the ambience of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. It was also very handy for the U Bahn station that is in the same street.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center, excellent city transport (subway station 50 m from the door, 1-day ticket costs 6.6 Eur only), fantastic breakfasts, the staff is very kind and helpful

Loved the breakfast,one of the best choices I have had in a hotel. The fruit was so fesh and the selection of bresd etc was excellent.

The location is great. Breakfast was also quite good. Balcony is a plus on the 6th floor suites but take all the rooms as the balcony is connecting them - thus lack of privacy would be quite disturbing.

The bathroom of the suite looks great on the pictures but in real life it is like a run down ex-communist block's bathroom... The bathtub itself is the smallest you can buy and would need some fresh sealant... Thus it was not good enogh value for money :-(

Very good breakfast, free wifi, nice design, good beds.

The free wifi is a bit slow and requires a new access code every day for each individual machine. Not very practical with laptop, smartphone and tablet.

We stayed in one of the hotel's suites, which are large & airy. Ours had a view on the TV tower, splendid! The room was very clean, and breakfast, which was included, was very good. The hotel is well positioned for transport as it's just off Maerkisches Museum on the central (red) line. Unter den Linden is a 15 min walk away.

Not many bars or cafes around. The bathtub had chips in the surface, too bad as the bathroom was really nice. A bit of fresh paint was all it needed!

We really enjoyed our time at art'otel. The breakfast was excellent and the bar was atmospheric with lovely cocktails! Staff were accessible and friendly and offered advice/tips. We would stay again and recommend to other people.
