Friendly staff, proximity to u Bahn station(10 minutes to city centre) Both beds in Room 11 were old and very uncomfortable. I asked for a 'Quiet Room', but was given one overlooking a busy dual carriageway. If the hotel was unable to provide a quiet room I should have been told in advance and given the opportunity to book another hotel. Bright orange street lighting lit the room all night: the curtains were too thin to be of much use.

Friendly stuff, great value breakfast, low price, nice location. For that price there is no serious drawbacks. Though, the rooms are not extremely clean.

In surrounding hotel cannot get draft beer WiFi is for fee. Thats very terrible. WiFi for free is standart in many hotels I thing.

It is close to the motorway. There is no lift and lots of narrow steep stairs - really difficult to get your suitcases to your room. The rooms are barely furnished and are not cozy in any way.

They claim to have free internet. This is not true. You have to buy tickets to use internet, 1 Euro for 30 mins, but reception is so bad, you cant even get online in this time. Absolutely disgusting and dirty rooms.

This is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stopped in. Although the price at €69.99 for the night was attractive, it was not worth it. The woman who "Greeted" us at the reception was rude and stunk of stale sweat! She proceeded to try to charge us again for the city tax of €3.50 even though it was cleary stated in our Booking.com receipt that we had paid it. As you climb to the second floor the stairs turn into a loft- ladder and the rail is a metal tube wrapped in gaffer tape! If there has been a fire it would have been a disaster. The only thing that could be said for the bright orange painted room was that it was fairly clean. My brother and I were only there for one night so we decided to put up with it, as it was made clear on booking that the room fee could not be cancelled. Do yourself a favour and pay €10 more - avoid this place.

Metro right next to the hotel, cheap, free parking near by. Toilet seat was not in good condition. The craftsmanship of the renovations done was quite poor.

I didn't like anything about this hotel. In particular, I disliked waking up to find I had been badly bitten by bedbugs. I have photos to illustrate this. I imagine any formal complaint to the hotel would be a waste of time. This hardly counts as a hotel - more of a dosshouse. The room was cramped and the furniture seemed home-made. In the bathroom the washbasin was cracked and had no plug. The staff were unhelpful and the building was noisy from about 5 am.

The one staff member was quite helpful It was a long way out of Cologne in a poor run down area. My room was very old fashioned, right on a main road very close to the fire station. Very noisy. It wad very shabby and the room smelt of cigarette smoke.
