Beautiful hotel. The staff was helpful and the food was very good. Great location. Walking distance to food and shopping.
The beds were so hard we would have been better off sleeping on the floor.
comfort room with a verygood mountain view , 200m to free bus station to everywhere even far to the last train station before zugspize, stuff is kind and helpfull
location is great, grand looking, and staff polite.
Sleep was not good. The room was not well ventilated and smelled moist. Noise from water in pipes kept up awake in the night. Blankets smelled dusty. Hotel is old u can feel it.
Prosecco on arrival and brilliant breakfast, well worth the money if you can get a good room rate. Great location
Hot tub wasn't on and the outdoor pool a disappointment, as in it didn't look clean enough to go into it.
Free wifi! Friendly staff! Interesting room - felt like a hunting lodge sort of, not a boring hotel room! Hotel has an interesting history and beautiful grounds. And set in the most beautiful scenery and right in the heart of old town Partenkirchen
The church bells ringing at night were loud, for light sleepers you will want ear plugs.
The hotel is lovely and historic, and the street that it's on is really quaint.
It is not in the center of Garmisch, and the bus service is bad to get into town. A bus only runs every 30 minutes (at best), so you have to really plan around the bus schedule. This hotel is really lovely though.
Reception was very helpful! We were able to enjoy the local indoor swimming pool too!
It poured so we couldn't enjoy as much as we wanted to of the town.
Loved the location and history of the hotel
We purchased a "last minute deal" which meant we were placed in a small room with no view.
There are multiple areas to eat. It's spread out with many cozy areas to meet with friends. Staff is VERY friendly and helpful!! Beautiful decor and excellent location in town.
honey moon every things was great
Food, location, staff.
The churc bell ringing at night, we had window towards it.
Very friendly, courteous staff Hotel if very nicely reconditioned, with a lot of character Excellent breakfast
Right across from church. The bells go off every 15 minutes throughout the night!!! Literally. No hyperbole. Would never stay here again. Got top floor room, which means low ceilings, hot in the summer. No air conditioning, must leave windows open.
The style of the hotel
Friendliness of the staff, excellent breakfast, although I booked the standard sigle room there was a balcony & the size was ok, the views were splendid (mountains, country yard). 100% recommendation!!!
Wi-Fi in my room was very slow and broke down several times parking is 6€/day & could maybe be included in the guest card?!
The staff at Atlas Grand was exceptionally helpful and kind. The location couldn't have been better. It was a beautiful hotel with great attention to decorating details. Having an elevator was a great help.
The beds were quite hard for us and the WiFi was not always available.
The ambiance was very nice. The staff was friendly
The mattresses were very hard, uncomfortable. Breakfast was not included although we paid enough for the room. Internet connection was poorly, slow. During breakfast (each morning) we were asked for our room numbers. Understand the reason for that, but in these modern days there surely must be a much better way to accommodate that.
Best breakfast buffet I've had in Europe yet! Very atmospheric hotel with wonderful wood paneled rooms, great staff, good wifi, and super clean. Wonderful location in Partenkirchen.
Beds are a bit hard.
Our room was big and full of character. Fantastic views from room 201. The ambiance of the hotel in general, it had charm and character. Car parking was close and underground.
Too many things were getting a little tired or were not fitted to a high enough standard for a 4 star hotel. The restaurant was not welcoming, lacked ambiance (no background music) and the service was odd. We only ate there once as a consequence and it seemed to sit mostly empty for the 2 weeks we were there.
- Awesome attentive staff - Convenient underground parking next door only 5 euro/day - Much needed glass of Prosecco offered upon arrival after 6 hours on the road - Excellent location - Sauna - Balcony - Wi-fi - Old historic room with modern, very, very clean bathroom - Good breakfast - No screaming little kids running around
- Mini-fridge never seemed to get cold
As mentioned in the subject, the staff excellent. They went out of their way to make our vacation special. For example, we were greeted with Prosecco, and we had made-to-order coffee drinks delivered to our table when we notified one of the staff that the machine was not functioning properly. Also, the concierge made sure that we had some discount tickets to local attractions when we mentioned our day trip plans. One of the managers even gave us a tour of the city in a lovely old British car--top down! We felt like celebrities! The benefits definitely outweigh the drawbacks.
The beds are really hard, the wifi is slow, and the hot tub is not the level of cleanliness I desire. Also, you have to park in a garage (5 Euro/day), and there are some other hidden fees not mentioned when I booked this hotel.
Really charming, central location, beautiful hotel.
WiFi did not work There was an odor in the 3rd floor hallway
Beautiful hotel, nice balcony with roof access, antique & authentic, up to date bathroom, neat natural spring, maintained Garden.
Not handicap accessible (stairs entry), even though "trip advisor & booking.com" had it listed as accessible. No ramp, no toilet handle bars & tiny elevator. Also expensive & inconvenient for a family of five with young children (2 room requirement).
Helpful personnel and nice environment. Balcony, mountain view and almost authentical Finnish sauna and outdoor pool.
It was hot room wo. air conditioning. Wifi signal quality was poor.
One of the best hotels I have ever been to! All fine, perfect localization!
