Hearty breakfast and fairly large room with balcony
Even if the room was a large double bed, but had 2 separate mattresses. The bed creaked very innervated at the slightest movement.
The rooms are sufficiently equipped, clean. The bahtrooms are big enough. The busy road close to the hotel is not an issue in the winter. The WiFi is working OK Basically you get a very, very good value to the price you pay.
The lights in the rooms are not sufficient for reading in the evening - it is too dark.
Proximity to a bus stop only a short hop away from town. Proximity to the historische Ludwigstrasse (walking distance) Walking distance from the Ski Stadium - has to be seen! Rooms comfortable but no family room so had to book 2 double rooms for 2 adults and 2 teens (expensive).
No kettle in room. Even reception couldn't boil water in anything smaller than an urn. Hot drinks outside of breakfast had to come from a vending machine, the contents of which were undrinkable. Surely it's not too much to ask to be able to brew a cup of tea in your room..? Maybe I'm too British. The coffee at breakfast tasted burnt every day (and we were breakfasting at 8am not 10am!) They ran out of Twinings English Breakfast teabags at breakfast on day 3 and didn't replace. Good job I took my own! No mini bar in the room - what.???? Staff a bit surly. CGD attitude.
Snowed just at the right time. Location good for walking to the old town Easy parking. Gents at reception very helpful
Single duvets on double beds! - was promised double duvet, but didn't materialize. Ladies on reception very curt and not helpful. Was charged 35euro per person per day for breakfast
The hotel is pretty new and clean
They can improve the breakfast and also get more waiters
Wi Fi was good. Staff was very nice
Fruhstuck could be better
Decent price for last minute accommodations in resort town. Parking was free. Wifi strong.
1. Grouchy reception, ignored guest upon arrival 2. Needed a room for 5, advertised double and triple bedrooms when in fact "triple room" had 5 beds. Made us pay for double room anyways 3. Triple room accessed only through rear side of hotel. Access from reception area/ front side of hotel was possible 4. Triple room had two TVs, one was smashed prior to arrival. 5. Shower head located on wall in the corner of the bathroom in the triple room, did not have a shower curtain or walls. Inadequate drainage resulted in entire bathroom being flooded within minutes 6. No toiletries provided (soap, shampoo) 7. About 15x15 cm. Mold on room wall in double room 8. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. (Flat and lumpy) 9. Some mattresses were very hard
Facilities were very nice, our triple room was large with a small balcony. As the hotel was at one end of town, we were given free passes for the buses for the days of our stay, in addition to some other discounts.
We needed to leave about 5:30 to catch a 6:00 a.m. train. The evening before, I asked the woman at the desk to help us reserve a cab. She made a call and said it wasn't possible, but said I should call in the morning (there would be no one at the desk at that hour). I tried to call in the morning, but there was no answer--maybe I didn't know how to use the phones correctly, but I tried several ways of dialing the number and two phones--so we started walking to the train station. It was a little slow going, since the sidewalks were slippery. A taxi saw us and stopped and picked us up. He asked why they hadn't called to reserve a cab for us. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding with the hotel clerk (we don't speak German), but it was a strange situation.
The TV was very small
Parking is not good
Free wifi Free parking Comfortable and clean room Within walking distance of restaurants
Very central. receptionist was extremley kind to me after my husband took ill. If in Garmisch again would use atlas hotel
on the booking formular it said check in from 4pm???very late. I phoned to ask if it was possible to come earlier NO i was told 4pm(we had to be showered dressed etc and in Mittenwald for 5.15pm was a dreadful rush and ruined the evening)
size of the rooms, sofa, balcony.
was charged twice, still waiting for the refund. toilet is small, high and a bit unusual to use
Other guest that were extremely noisy into the late hours of the night. Playing football in the hallway and loud music in their rooms
refurbished rooms since my last stay was a welcome change.
Our group travelled around Germany and Austria staying in Hotels each night. I feel as the most expensive Hotel on our Trip and not to supply Breakfast was a let down. A double booking was made by mistake through the website. I identified it immediately but was not corrected and therefore I had to pay €200 more due to a no cancelation policy. and then when booking out, we had to pay the €2 Kur Tax. all in I paid over €600 for 2 nights to not even get a breakfast.
Location is good, close to city center. Supermarket is nearby. Bus stop is nearby with the free transfer across the town (with guest card). Very friendly and helpful staff. Kid's area in the restaurant. Parking. Elevator.
Breakfast is a bit poor. No refrigerator.
Hotel location was handy with bus stop nearby to main station & surrounding suburbs. We were supplied with complimentary bus tickets from hotel reception for each day we stayed. The hotel rooms with balcony was great & relaxing.Lifts were handy. Very spacious rooms & breakfast room was huge & food was very generous to start our day off for our great adventure. We will stay at this hotel again & we highly recommend it.
Hotel was much nicer inside than looked from road. Large room with TV which had BBC news etc. Wifi free and worked well in room, car parking was free and easy to find. Location - we missed the bus into town and walked - about 35 minutes brisk walk to centre. Bus goes every 30 mins 100 yards from hotel - check times before deciding when to go into town
Only realized in the morning that none of the pillows had a cover on - simple mistake
Clean room, good personnel
Nice view. Good location on skirts of the city.
Weak WiFi (inaccessible from our room on the top floor).
Good value for money, considering that hotels in innsbruck are relatively expensive.
Its certainly not a 4-star hotel as advertised. But it is still ok. No air conditioning, so should sleep with open window, but somewhat noisy.
Location!!! Large room!!
When it came to checking out I was charge for a room I had already paid for!! Thankfully I had documentaction with me to say I had paid!! Another family were charge 135 euro's!! Like mine it was a bill they didn't expect!! Once bitten twice shy!!
easy to reach the city center. good vlue for money
Price, Private parking, nice rooms
Location is great & staff was very nice!
Beds are terrible... My daughter slept between us & I had to put blankets under her because you could feel the wood! Mattresses were absolutely awful even for the price of the hotel I was very disappointed!
Bed not very comfortable
