The room was quite large for a centrally located hotel. Walking around Berlin very easy from the location and there was also easy access to public transport. Staff were helpful and pleasant We were fortunate enough to get a parking spot very close to hotel. (A permit is provided by hotel) however parking is limited and pretty tight.

Excellent stuff, kind and helpful. Free parking (you have to make reservation in advance), very useful for people coming there with a car. Location was also excellent, in beautiful street nearby Kurfürstendamm and just 30 meters away from U1 station. Breakfast was included in our price and it was good. Wi-fi system only allows one device, and on iPhone your login expires each time your phone gets locked. It worked good on MacBook though and it was accessible from our room.

The room, the breakfasts, the location There was no cafe or restaurant, so presumably there would have been no food room service.

The ambience, tasteful decorations, character of the building. Cleanliness and attention to detail. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Complicated light switches in our room.It was not possible to turn on the lights near the bed only; the main light appeared to be on the same switch.(room 55)

It was centrally placed. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Parking the car. You have to find your own car space in the street, notneasynin the middle if the city. Lots of stairs, not suitable for people with physical disabilities

Very good staff and location. Great breakfast area, lots of choice and relaxed atmosphere. Traditional hotel with nice features. Few lifts to use to get to rooms with cases, but not a major issue.

Lovely old hotel with high ceilings and big windows that actually open! Beautiful breakfast room. Very friendly staff. I was e-mailed minutes after checking out that I had forgotten my earrings and asked where to send them. The stairs! There is an elevator, but you have to deal with two sets of steep stairs before getting to the elevator.

Position, breakfast, room. No private parking! The only possibility is to find something on the street!!! :-( reception and lift are on 1st floor and have to run stairways to reach them.

The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Hotel was located almost next to the Uhlandstraße U-Bahn entrance although, that it's on the U1 means, you'd always have to transfer trains at some point. This part of Berlin feels very safe. Breakfast was exceptional for an European hotel - a good spread of hams, salami, cheese and sausages. Toilet was tight. Getting to the room meant climbing a few flights of stairs and taking 2 separate elevators - not easy for parents with young kids. Finally, you have to ride your luck to get a spot on the street. The consolation is it's free.

Our room was spacious, clean and nicely furnitured. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast buffett was excellent. It's a very interesting hotel, great location and I highly recommend it. I would definitely stay there again should I return to Berlin some day. We found silverfish in the room.

Small and quiet hotel with excellent staff, helpful if requested but not full on -just right. The room was clean and comfortable at the back of the hotel, billed as a superior room, simple but comfortable. A great location in the centre. The only thing was the strange elevator arrangement ( down in one from reception to a garden courtyard then up in another lift to the upper floor of an adjacent building) not really a problem but seemed a little strange
