Unlike our last stay, when we were in the main body of the hotel (ie easy to reach the room), this time, our room needed the use of one lift to go down to a rear courtyard, then another lift to go up to our room after traversing said courtyard - quite a trek/faff! The WiFi reception was very poor and was slow once connection was managed. This could have been due to how far our room seemed to be away from the hotel reception. Also needed to re-input complicated passwords every time you logged on again. Disappointed that breakfast is no longer included in the room price - so didn't bother with it this time (and therefore can't comment on it). Our previous stay seemed much better/more enjoyable. I think this recent (second) visit will probably be our last to the Augusta, unfortunately. Wasn't terrible, just a little disappointing all-round - especially for 110 euros a night, despite its very good location.
Location is very good (for us, anyway), very near KuDamm, Zoo, Breitscheidplatz and Savignyplatz, and therefore with good public transport links. Located down a pretty quiet street, despite being just 150m from the KuDamm. Room a decent size, bathroom very roomy for a hotel.
