Clean and comfortable room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location close to the river is ideal. Food in restaurant is quite good.
Very nice hotel. I was doing business in Frankfurt for a week and although the drive was 1 hour to the city it was well worth it. Nice hotel and good places to eat all very close. Basically park the car and relax. The only down sides were small rooms and weak wifi in the hotel room. But, that was no big deal to me. Great place to stay. I will be back every time I do business in south Germany .
Great location, good rooms, and very clean.
You can only get wifi in the lobby, and the lobby is closed off late at night. Very inconvenient when you are trying to use the internet to plan for the following day.
Breakfast buffet was excellent, plenty of choice. Parking space below hotel for 8 euros a night.
Wifi was only available in the lobby which was inconveniënt.
Staff where really friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Great breakfast.
Room was very hot with no air conditioning. Car parking charges are steep. Lots of flies in the restaurant.
The hotel staff was excellent. My wife and I stayed there on the night of our 6 year anniversary, and the staff had a bottle of champagne on ice and a platter of fruits and chocolates in our room upon our arrival - - - complimentary! Great service, beautiful hotel.
The hotel does not have air conditioning.
The location was great. Basically in the middle if town. Staff was helpful but not outrageously friendly. We stayed in a larger room so the space was good. Easter weekend meant chocolates and eggs upon arrival. Decent breakfast. We ate dinner here too Because everything was closed early on Easter. Decent food but overpriced.
Terrible beds. Lighting on with key but also meant the bathroom fan would only turn off when you pulled out the key. Fan went off randomly and kept waking us up because it was so loud.
The staff at Hotel Augustin was incredibly helpful, especially at reception and the chef, who helped me on Easter Sunday night. I had a flat tyre and was helped to contact my road-side assistance insurance in Switzerland. They in turn called me within 10 minutes. A person then arrived at the hotel at 23h00 and by 11h00 on Easter Monday morning I had a new tyre on my car to continue the drive home. Without the kind assistance of the hotel staff, the situation would have been a lot more stressful.
