This is the best three star hotel I have ever stayed in and in my opinion it could rival many four star hotels. The room was a good size with a double bed and a desk to sit at. Tea and coffee making facilites were available which cannot always be said of three star hotels. The breakfast was extraordinary value for money which a huge choice of items and served in a very well appointed room. I only stayed for one night but I was made very welcome and checking in was very smooth, even though I was a little late. The snack menu was very good and the burger was excellent. I would definitely return to this hotel if I had another trip to this area of Germany.

The hotel was excellent, the location convenient, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the staff were cordial and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. I would always stay here when I come back to Duesseldor. Regards Rajiv Gunasena I think the bed sheets and towels need to be changed on a daily basis, toiletries were sometimes running low. Need to have complimentary bottles of water.

The fitness center and the superb breakfast There is not any information of the internal rules. You have to pay a penalty if you smoke in the room.

Outstanding value for money! Clean, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast selection of a good 5 star hotel. Great hotel for business trips in Dusseldorf and the area around it. Highly recommended! Pillows. Too soft for my preference, however I did not ask if there was a selection to choose from...

1. the statement made about this place's value for money is true: it is probably the best place for the money in all of Germany. 2. location is excellent. Though a bit of a walk from the train station (maybe 30 min), it is right next to a beautiful volksgarten, and you can take the number 706 trolley straight to the city and be there within a few minutes. 3. breakfast really is the best I've ever had in Germany. More variety than I've ever seen, and I've eaten a few good breakfasts in Germany. It's saying something when they leave a note on your table saying that if "if you want something else, just ask us...." 4. Hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful. A lot of young, hard working people who were always willing to assist. 5. The rooms were excellent and had a view of some nice trees and gardens nearby. The only thing was that room service was a little slow and didn't change one of my towels, but otherwise there's nothing to complain about with this hotel.

Friendly reception, clean rooms, good spa area, perfect breakfast, comfortable beds, unique design. A bit too far from the city center for a city tour, so you have to walk 5-10 minutes to the tram and then go 6-7 stops to get to the city center.

We enjoyed our stay and thought the hotel was very good the only thing which detracted from our pleasure was the temperature of the room at night was very hot, this could be because of the abnormally high temperatures for the time of year or maybe it needs addressing for the furture, not only from guests comfort but also from the waste of energy as I think most guests were sleeping with the windows open which must be costing a lot in wasted energy.

It's location allowed me quick access to the eastern Ruhrgebeit as it was a 5 minute trip to the main Wuppertal motorway. It also has the wonderful "Auf'n Hennecamp" bar within walking distance. It is also only a 7 minute walk to the S-bahn. That links you to the U-bahn after about 2 stops. The hotel is in a very gloomy, dead section of Dusseldorf (which itself is not exactly the Paris of Germany!). It does have secure parking, but the whole area seemed rather de-populated and dark at night. It feels like a bit of a hike to go to the S-bahn although the alternative of hanging around the hotel area doesn't bear thinking about- except for the excellent bar mentioned.

The breakfast, although expensive, really set us up for the day, providing a large variety of fruit, cereals, nuts and seeds, cold meats, cheeses, and cake. The hot range was fairly limited and not particlarly attractive but by the time we had got to that point this did not matter. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, with excellent English at their command. The location was not particulary good so we were trying to rely on local restaurants in the evening rather than returning to the Old Town or city. The hotels comments were out of date (an Italian they recommmended just down the road had clsed down and morphed into Lebanese or something similar, that we did not try).

Loved the Customer service from the very first contact, that's important to me, to feel welcome when I'm traveling to the new places. Service was exceptional, always a smile from the staff who's always there any time day or night. Their breakfast trully isto die for!!! And the lovely garden where we had breakfast, perfection. Surely, the hotel I'll recommend to all my friends. Can't honestly say anything bad about this lovely little hotel.

The room was extremely comfortable with a good bathroom, and the breakfast was truly excellent! The first person I encountered at the front desk did not seem very eager to be of help, however the person I had the following day was wonderful.

Attracted by the breakfast comments by others...and its true, its outstanding. Service from the staff member knows as "Fox" was beyond the call of duty...he couldnt do enough to help. If you want a hotel with lots of facilities, hot and cold running staff, on-site restaurant and room service and a feeling of spaciousness then dont go here. However if you prefer your hotel to be personal, compact and contemporary and you are ok with walking out to get fed then this is is for you...you'll be happy here!

Very clean. Delicious breakfast with a big variety of food. Charming garden. Parking. For the hotel of 4 stars, as it's written at the entrance, it is unacceptable to pay extra fee for the parking. Very poor menu at the bar.

There was a very friendly girl in reception, cant remember her name ( sorry.. She had an aussie accent) who was very helpful. The hotel was very near a tram line and 2 stops from city centre. There is a lovely garden/patio area at the rear of the hotel, a little oasis in the middle of a city!
